We are allowed to have talks on trade deals with anyone but we are not allowed to sign anything until we have left.

We are not allowed to have talks with any EU country on trade as they have agreements as a trading union. And we can't have talks on a trade agreement with the EU as they refuse to.

You are not right in saying that the EU is refusing to talk about my rights, and the rights of all EU citizens. They don’t want us to lose rights that we now have. That applies to existing EU migrants in the UK, not to future EU migrants when we are no longer in the EU. So it is not the same.

If we end up with a Norway style agreement, which is about what Corbyn was asking for, then things will stay the same, although Corbyn wasn’t for FOM as it is now.

Basically, we cannot 100% settle EU citizens rights until we know how we are leaving.

So far off the mark as usual Mart. All it takes is an agreement that anyone who has moved to another country before our leave date has the right to stay. But the EU prefers the threat of you only having rights in that country alone. So the EU has refused to have talks until they have given their best shot to jeep the UK in the EU. They have ignored the doubt and upset caused by those who live elsewhere. The countries in the EU understand this and have tried to stop people from worrying what their futures hold.
