Have you never dared to play a "Game of Chicken"?Tomorrow afternoon is the deadline can’t see how anything postive will be announced by then tbh...
Why would you hate the club? Hate the owners yes not the club. This situation is testing my patience.
I had a hell tof a job hanging in after the Northampton fiasco caused entirely by my clubs owners and we are entering the same territory here once again. Willfully and knowing what the outcome will be.
I say all of them can go to hell but I reserve a special place at the top table for Sisu.
I have no space in my heart for any other team but I absolutely hate my club at the moment. The lack of contrition is mind boggling, they should be at our feet asking for forgiveness.
How some on here can spin this any other way is testament to the power of spin and bullshit that sure does baffle brains.
Fook me, do a flounce by all means, but hating the club?!I have no space in my heart for any other team but I absolutely hate my club at the moment.
If someone was taking you to court would you invite them to stay in your home ?Does anybody think we shouldn't be looking at options when the owners of the only stadium we can realistically play in won't talk to us?
If this happens again its a nail in the coffin of the club. Sisu would rather have us playing outside the city at a ground not fit for a club like us and is a kick in the teeth to the fans and players a like playing at a tin pot ground rather than dropping this rediculous legal battle that they have no chance of winning.Odds on it's going to be Nuneaton
1. It probably just works within the 6 mile Coventry boundary
2. somehow it might save Nuneaton as a football team who are currently in trouble
Myself and mates will not be going to any ground other our home ground the Rioch - didn't go to Northampton and certainly will not be going to Nuneaton and also this time not going to any away matches - had enough of all this
You never heard of "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer"? :emoji_money_mouth:If someone was taking you to court would you invite them to stay in your home ?
Which ever way you look at it a move to a tin pot ground is an insult and a kick in the teeth to the fans and club. Perhaps it suits sisu as Fisher said we couldnt afford to be in the championship so staying in league 1 or two playing at a ground with a 5000 capicity would suit as the budget for players would be less and the attendencies would reflect thisHaving nerdily re-read the EFL ground criteria, I think CCFC have to have a ground with 2000 seats & a 5000 overall capacity.
This rules out Nuneaton & Hinckley. Rugby is possible with a bit of adjustment, the Butts. With a temporary stand.
It's nowhere near that simple and trying to paint it like that makes you look like an idiot. If someone was taking you to court would you invite them to stay in your home ?
Like Mr Smurf perhaps ?Depends who the owners are. What if it was a consortium of local businessmen and someone who just happened to own a ground.

If we at outside of Coventry we won't need more than a 2000 capacity.
Absolutely understandable. I heard Clive talking to Dave Boddy tonight on CWR and some of the questions he put to Mr Body seemed to be as if DB was part of SISU directly. There's a fine line between the distinction between CCFC and SISU and this line of approach doesn't help. This situation is testing my patience.

The league requirements for capacity will be far above the number that will attend. That's relevant. I am guessing how many will go, but I won't be far off. It's about league requirements not guessing how many would go.
Receipts please.

Isn't it amazing how many people are taking wasps word? Almost as if they are immune to bullshitting.
How many season ticket holders do we have?
Controversial and not what I want but.... is there not a twisted logic to having a smaller stadium, relatively local, that if packed every game could bring further success on the pitch?
That’s what I said about playing at the butts, I believe a packed out butts park arena would be better then the Ricoh. I would welcome the butts especially in our situationHow many season ticket holders do we have?

If we could downsize to a 17-23k stadium that would be good in the long term. But, again, we would’ve been far better off remaining at Highfield Road. If only we had a time machine!

id go back and drop Simon Haworth for the Sheff Utd away FA Cup game
Nick why are Wasps so worried about SISU legals .? They haven’t done anything wrong have they? Headlines of “London Wasps throw Coventry City Football Club out of the Coventry Ricoh Stadium”. Has such a lovely ring about itYes, because then the club will be handed over to Hoffman.

not defending or having a go at anyone here, but if someone was taking me to court because I bought a house that was for sale on one hand and asking to rent the same house on the other, yer, not happening....
