Reheated May deal incoming.

Can he survive the VoNC that’ll come after or has he burned his bridges?

Obviously not it's clear that the opposition parties are waiting for the opportune time to pull the trigger. At least it's nice to see this useless sack of shit being shown up for what he is

I’m saying will him avoiding no deal with Mays deal bring enough rebels back or has he fucked it? I seriously doubt he’ll want an election if he’s just passed Mays deal, the Faragistas will be baying for blood.

This is hilarious. He’s proper fucked himself. Not enough popcorn in existence for the next couple of months.

The funniest thing will be watching Rees-Mogg and the ERG voting for it first time around while pretending something has changed.

Farage has vowed to break his pact with Tubby if the latter fails to pursue no deal.

In my opinion when the general election comes the liberals will be the opposition in parliament to the tories.
I work with a lot of staunch labour voters who have voted for them in every GE and they all say there is no way would under any circumstance could they vote for Corbyn.
I can see the liberals coming through and labour having a tiny corner in the house where their remaining MPs will sit
Just my opinion, I am just sick to death of politics, can't wait for all this shit to be over and we can get back to talking about the weather

That’s a nice fantasy, but FPTP don’t work like that. Lib Dem’s need to be polling around 30% before that’s at all likely. Also most Lib Dem target seats are Lib/Con marginals, usually Lib Dem’s doing well means Labour have an easier route to government. See the 90s.

Also, fuck a democracy that has two right wing parties as your options. Especially one such as ours with a strong social democratic history.

I'd almost take May's deal passing in return for the karma of Johnson going down in history as one of the most inept, dishonest, unwittingly prejudiced prime ministers of our time.

Let him stew a bit though. It's nice to see the egomaniac look quite so troubled when he realises the contempt some have for the clown patrolling our streets like a double glazing salesman, destroying our great country.

They voted for Blair after he carried out an illegal war on a false premise but won't vote for a grey haired man advocating social democratic policies

Got it

It's all been about him, even now I am not convinced he does or has ever believed in Brexit. It's all a big game to him and his quest for the top job, which he now has and it looks like he could well go down as the worst PM ever.

It's great to see him repeating the same old vacuous crap and people still challenging him.

He’d take that I reckon. Rather worst ever than a nobody.

I’ve been thinking about what you said about May doing a good job and I think you’re onto something.

I’ve long believed that Ferage’s leave campaign was a Trojan horse for a no deal brexit for him and the disaster capitalist that he fronts for but the last few days events is convincing me of the same for Boris and Co and the official leave campaign.

Think about it, Boris and co step aside after Cameron resigns and let remainer May take the job offering her up as a sort of pallet cleanser as Stewart Lee put it but I think it was more than that. They were banking on her being an absolute disaster and not even getting near to a negotiated withdrawal agreement paving the way for catchphrase politics to stoke the fires of hate paving the way for a hard deal brexit. Problem was she pulled it off, she got the deal and they had to pretend that it didn’t meet the red lines and rebel. Third time of asking it was obvious that she was finished so a few high profile members of the ERG vote for it as they know they need to look human for the impending leadership contest. And here we are. It’s a theory anyway.

He sold his soul to the devil of disaster capitalist so they would front him to be world king. Not a single principled bone in that man’s body.

I can’t imagine Johnson ever signing on but then you’d think people will have to stop hiring him soon as he’s a walking disaster zone in every job he’s ever done.

Maybe he could reinvent himself? You know, like the good Nazi Albert Speer. Let’s hope no one finds Boris’ colouring in book after his death and blows the myth wide open.

It's the same old predictions as last time though and look how that turned out. Personally I think that it would end up as a hung parliament but with Lab the 2nd biggest party still.

Can he survive the VoNC that’ll come after or has he burned his bridges?

From memory (it seems like an age in brexit world) I’m sure the always impartial Bercow said the WA couldn’t be brought back without substantial changes ?! Then there was that weird ‘error’ the Kinnock amendment (I think) that was highlighted by someone on here the other day. Not sure if that changes things or not ?

As I alluded to yesterday the joy people are getting from the Brexit/Johnsons mess is bizarre. Do people prefer to watch our country focussed on one big fuck up or do they want this to be sorted and over with ? I’m no big fan but all this nonsense about him wanting a No Deal for his capitalist mates is just crazy. No deal is a massive risk to his ‘legacy’, getting a brexit deal agreed and through will be a massive positive.

People saying the ERG will wave a WA through are sadly mistaken, a number have already said they will reject again. The key will be labour and the opposition parties and whether they truly want to avoid a ‘no deal’ or this continued impasse.....or actually want to sort this out (I think kinnock has already said given the chance again he’d vote for Mays deal)

Ps if after all this Johnson gets a WA through, he wins the election (not sure if he gets a majority though)

The last two labour ministers trying to explain the labour stance has ended in embarrassment with Andrew Neil tearing apart Angela Rayner and the not exactly savage Fiona Bruce mocking and laugh ting at Thornberry with the audience just laughing and shaking their heads

No wonder they won’t have an election.

Also people need to be careful what they wish for....if there is an extension and then an election the Tories are unlikely to win (Brexit party takes too much of their vote). This could lead to a worse case scenario of a Tories/Brexit party pact....which could lead to an eventual no deal !

I'm sorry, but watching a Bulllingdon boy who has always got his way suddenly in over his head and slowly realising that for the first time in his life the privilege he was born in to isn't going to save him is great fun.

Whatever way Brexit goes the country is going to be fucked one way or another for some time so we may as well get our enjoyment where we can!

Let’s be honest, they’ve fucked a lot of their traditional support in the north. They are relying on battling it out with Lib Dem’s in the south and winning who will love Thornberrys non committal nonsense as they know she will ultimately push for remain (tories/Johnson are now equally as fucked in these SE areas !!!)

Who would’ve ever seen the likely battlegrounds in that way ?!! As I said before it’s a weird old world we currently live in !

For many, Brexit is a big fuck up and these people have had to endure gloating and goading from those in favour of it, so what do you expect, snowflake? ;)

At least in all of this we still have Andrew Neil...I’m sure most reasonable people can appreciate him.

I’m still laughing at that alt right idiot and from America calling him a leftie.

I haven’t seen much gloating and goading. Most people I know on both sides just want it done and for the country to come out of it in decent shape (either way)

Ps snowflake comment did make me smile to be fair !!!

What's weird about the referendum is that if you were to ask all the faux outraged people now why they voted to leave the EU they'd have forgotten. It is and always has been a non issue in comparison with some of the other decisions made by the Tories since 2010.

The country isn't going to come out of it in good shape either way, it's an international laughing stock and no foreign government will trust the Tories on the word. No deal and we're out in the wilderness begging to sell off the remainder of the UK to America
