OK. Forget everything else. Boris just said “if parliament were a laptop they’d be showing the pizza wheel of doom”

I say this as someone with two degrees in computer science: what the ever loving fuck is a pizza wheel of doom?

At best I assume he means the Mac beach ball, but that’s a sign the processor is working on something and usually needs more time.

This man is spectacularly bad at analogies.

In his case? One with no pizza on it

Can’t say it enough, Tory political game playing is the entire reason we haven’t left and it’s sad that people don’t see this and have fallen hook line and sinker for lies from a proven lying liar.

That`s some achievement, isn`t it. Though outdone by convincing people that they want no deal, where the UK suffers more and, after a period of gratuitous pain, returns to negotiations with diminished leverage. Mindblowing.

People voted to lose their jobs, freedom of movement and to have a limited choice at the supermarket.

It’s worth it to be out of the federalist EU, or something.

On a side note, what will all the people who have been masturbating themselves into a frenzy while stating “the E.U. is on the verge of collapse” for the last 3 years so when the E.U. carries on into the foreseeable future?

It's all beyond my understanding, I'm afraid. I'm still struggling to understand how working people can vote for the Tories. People are odd.

the country her parents come from has already told us there will be no free trade deal with out an easing of visa restrictions as she well knows but the tory delegates lapped it up so job done.
Technically that has already started with the UKVI issuing far more Tier 4 student visas to South Asian students over the past couple of years and now the reintroduction of the two year post study visa.....

You. Can’t. Vote. Remain. Or. Leave. In. A. General. Election.

Why is this so hard to grasp? If you want a vote to determine the current public opinion, you ask them that question, not another one tangentially related.

Be honest, you’re just worried it’ll be Remain this time.

And please post the evidence anyone is cherry picking polls.
So that twatter post showing how much all polls are remain is the same as all polls?

Worried about remain? Why are there so many idiots on this thread? You don't mind what you say however much it is away from the truth. Nobody picks you up on it. And when others are miles off the mark you never pick them up on it. As long as they are remain whatever that is.

This isn't a debate. This us a crusade.

I said ages ago about what idiots from leave would start doing if leave looked like it wouldn't happen. I was wrong because the only people marching were remain. It was supposed to show the public only wanted to remain.

Or how about Corbyn. You agree with me on him but never said a word once when they all piled into me constantly for speaking the truth. But I am also supposed to be biased for speaking the truth on Corbyn. If I am chatting shit about Corbyn where does that put yourself?

I would love for someone to explain why it is that if I want remain I am supposed to only post pro EU and pro remain items and not say the slightest thing that could be seen as against it even though it is the truth.

I am on my last night shift then eighteen days off. Straight off to France to spend it with my wife and younger kids there. Would someone like to explain how I could be idiotic enough to want the UK to leave when they have moved to France when leaving will cause all sort of problems.

And for those who question my family being there would anyone like any pics of my family enjoying the lifestyle there?

Or I suppose I am not remain as I don't constantly post remain diatribe but try and look at what is the truth and where could we go from here to find some sort of resolution.

And yet again the same question from myself. Where are my pro leave posts that some try and make out are posted? Where is my love in with Boris? That is unless me constantly calling him a twat is me saying something good. But the way things are twisted on here it wouldn't be a surprise.

I might as well leave you all to it. Looks like you would all prefer this thread to be pro remain and nothing else. A debate isn't really wanted. Trying to work out what is really going on isn't wanted.

Have fun.

The thing is when anyone tries to debate you make posts like the above where you say you’ve been “piled into” or like the last few days where you’ve said you’re not allowed to say things.

You surely do understand it wouldn’t be a debate if everyone just agreed with you?

Oh well. Back to work. Ten hours to go then over 800 miles drive to get to wife and kids.

Enjoy.

Give over you massive sausage. People disagreeing with you or calling you out when you spout bullshit isn’t a personal attack. If you’ve got evidence I’m wrong, post it and I’ll address it. Don’t cry about it.

To try and continue the debate, that I apparently don’t want, here is every poll taken since the referendum (scroll down to post referendum polling)

Opinion polling for the United Kingdom European Union membership referendum - Wikipedia

The last poll to show Leave ahead was in May before the EU elections, and it was one poll. Prior to that is was two polls in March 2018 just after the Mansion House speech.

That twitter post really isn’t cherry picking. The UK public has consistently been plurality Remain since mid 2017.

In fact, take into account the fact that Leave only took the lead towards the end of the referendum campaign and its safe to say the UK public has been pro Leave for a grand total of just over a year.
It's why Johnson & Co. want an election rather than a referendum. The doubts (whether valid or not) about Corbyn could cost Labour.

The massive shame is there was an opportunity for Liberals and Labour to move together and commit to a referendum before an election, and commit to implement said referendum within a set period of time... and actually sort this out! Instead we're in the same old bizarre circles.

The Libs have to shit on Labour and a Corbyn in particular. Their target votes comes from the right. Same as Labour can’t go full bore Remain because of their marginals, same as Tories going full English Brexit because of the voter base Cummings has built up info on.

Democracy in action!

Thing is, a referendum before election doesn't affect Labour policy in particular. Lib Dems have made it a manifesto pledge in a hope of winning votes, but there must have been a way through that to get toa commitment of referendum then election. Both could surely have sold it - Labour that they're pushing for resolution, Lib Dems that they've moderated Labour.

Do you know I hadn’t really thought about it that way. Obviously yes the tories need the Brexit party votes but you’re right Cummings also has more data on those individuals.

I remember seeing a line in an article about Cummings having data on his laptop still which he can use. Presumably the vast majority of that is illegally harvested and he’s going to use it in an upcoming election!

I was being slightly tongue in cheek, but clearly for Cummings, and maybe Johnson though I suspect he’s just happy to be PM, this has been a data exercise from the start and him pushing for the gov.uk logs as well makes me think he’s got a strategy planned out around it. The spending announcements focusing on funding the key services and raising NMW are big for that group of never voted Tory leavers they need onside. They have two clear prongs of attack: people vs parliament to the Uber Leavers, jam tomorrow for the “Northern Labour voter”. Its a solid strategy TBF. And most importantly one with two clear clusters of voters with issues that don’t really intersect, perfect for targeted advertising.

Many of those that will have switched to Remain in those polls I posted earlier will have been half hearted leavers more interested in side issues than “sovereignty” and also the half interested in politics type to like Johnson’s goofy character act and not know enough to see past it.

Just a suspicion of course.

I wish I didn't have to spend so much time looking at what could or couldn't happen. But I have to cover all bases. My biggest worry would be my youngest children getting halfway through secondary school then having to leave France. It is pure insanity at times.

Even the French don't know how to get some things. If you look online different sites contradict each other. And if you start an application off but get it wrong you can't cancel it and start again. You have to continue and correct the one you started. Nothing but masses of paperwork. The French love paperwork.

Now I have to study the latest Boris Irish situation. Some are happy with it. Some say it can't work. The EU says they will look at it. The Lib Dems say referendum. Suppose it is something to do on a long night shift.

So there are no polls showing the opposite or remain nowhere near with the majority?

Someone posted up similar a couple of days ago. If you want a poll to say something you will find it. Just like either leave without a deal or Corbyn as PM.....

From what I have seen the polls are on average about what would be an exact reversal of when we had the referendum. About 52% or 53% remain. How could this be if all polls showed a larger amount are remain than this? Yet the twatter thing is all correct?
