Oh well, the idiots lapped it up already. I noticed that the posters on here who were treating it like it was fact haven't rushed to apologise for spreading misinformation have they.

That's why they do it - by the time it gets called out it's too late as in this day and age with the speed of communication it's already gone round the internet twice and those that want to believe it will.

You still here the odd person going on about bendy bananas and that was debunked over a decade ago.

It's actually pretty serious this time too. She should be fired.

Is this over the phantom punch?
No, she's said reports are coming in the postal votes are not looking good for Labour. Nobody should have access to those results and she should not be reporting on them. She either has a source that has completely broken the law or she's just pumping out propaganda. No other option.

Andrew Neil - chicken'd out
Julie Etchingham - chicken'd out
GMTV - chicken'd out
Jeremy Vine - chicken'd out
Channel 4 climate debate - chicken'd out
You forgot the Channel 4 interview with Guru-Murphy, Rochester speech (cancelled because of 5 protesters) and he even no showed his own constituency meeting which had been rearranged to suit his schedule.

Weighting for voting by age groups... they’ve played down younger vote and overstated (less so) turnout in older people.

I think that's under an assumption due to the different time of year. Bit of bad/cold whether and they feel younger voters are more likely to stay in. Uni students may be in the process of moving around at the end of term.

Older voters are of course prone to bad weather this but are far more likely to have taken the precaution of a postal vote etc.

Maybe it's more accurate, maybe not - we'll find out tomorrow.

Electoral Commission seem to be aware, they’ve just tweeted this:

sure it will be claimed it’s just another BBC error but isn’t it odd how they have made multiple errors favouring the Conservatives and not one favouring Labour?

I think it says a lot more about the Tories, that his so called 'friend' would secretly record him then leak it, for political gains.

It is indeed a shitty thing to do but not necessarily something I'd put past campaigners for any party frankly, esp under pressure to do so from the spin doctors etc.

Like the thing about the leaked NHS deal documents - it REALLY annoys when things like this come to light and the outrage is at the person leaking them and how there must be an investigation to find and punish them, not at the party/individuals that its proves have lied or given out misinformation and how they should be investigated.

What a shame the Tory party is no longer a broad church.

Him, Grieve and Stewart seem genuine, decent and principled politicians.

We were worried about Russian interference but the autocratic disinformation campaign is coming from inside the U.K.

If the Tories win this our democracy is fucked. This shit will become normal.

It is the point that if it works it becomes "if you can't beat them join them". Although I reckon if the likes of Campbell were still involved it'd be pretty rife in Labour circles.

I'm trying to think if there's any other profession someone could come out with so much disinformation and not be barred from taking part. If this were athletics all Tories would be forced to prove they were clean and made to attend parliament as independents!

She will get away with it somehow but the police should be on at her to reveal her source. She's literally either complicit in breaking the law or making stuff up. Neither should be acceptable for a BBC politics editor.

No postal votes.

She should know better. Ego-trip which could arguably influence some probably small number of voters (but in what way is anyone's guess)

Seems she has passed her sell by date as she doesnt feel she needs to follow the rulebook. A bit like one or two seeking election!

Kuennesburg has definitely not come across as impartial during this election campaign, and has shown poor journalistic ability in her reporting. But of course the BBC is a commie/leftie propaganda machine........
Rubbish she is totally impartial and that’s why you don’t like her

Just thought I'd put these back up........

In fairness, who knows her intent by reporting this?

Several people I have heard previously on the radio openly said they voted leave in the referendum because they felt a bit sorry for the leave camp as some the polls they looked at suggested a comfortable remain win.

Fact is IF she was just trying to be first to report for her own ego she needs to be put through the mill. IF she is found to be deliberately breaching the rules she deserves to have the rulebook (coz it's no doubt humongous) thrown in her smug face & be dismissed

Indeed. It could make some Labour people come out and vote and/or make some Tories complacent. It could end up being a boost for Labour on polling day for all anyone knows.

Apparently the maximum sentence for what she's done is 6 months.
I would need a girdle to keep me together if that happened.

I’m going to make some predictions on this.
The source is Dominic Cummings

The truth is that the postal votes are good for labour

Cummings is desperately trying to influence the election because Boris is up shit creek without a Brexit paddle.

After going over it again and again in my head, and flip flopping... The only reason I'd vote Conservative is for brexit.
Therefore there are many more things I care about more and Labour will get my vote tomorrow

I've done a 360 basically
Labour's policy still gives the opportunity for Brexit anyway, so you're not throwing it out.

Bravo for not seeing it as a one-issue election, anyway!

Yes, second that.

Labour have promised a new deal that will then be put to the electorate, so they can be held to account for that if they don't

As one union official said in politics you walk on one side of the road or the other - those that walk in the middle tend to get run over
