Yea and without knowing all the facts we can not pass fair judgement on that surely, King said they offered him a different contract to the one verbally agreed. Both sides are just as bad as each other so who to believe.May I say without wishing to sound rude. Where was Kings' professionalism when HE phoned AT, and said he was going to sign again for the City?
Thornton could have the skill of Lionel Messi and no club in the top few leagues would go near him because of his attitude.
King is a poor excuse of a human being but most of the time his career and personal life were well separated where as Thornton would carry his attitude in personal life to his attitude in his career.
