Part of the irony of this is that the govt may actually keep it's pledge on new hospitals being built!

And as of now I say we fuck off Carillion and all those other firms that tender for these projects and end up being massively over budget and taking ages and just give all construction contacts to the Royal Engineers.
Didn’t Carillion go bust a couple of years back?

Snowflake? Your the leftie crybaby not me. I'm sure they'll be a few oap Brexit voters passing away today so you raise another glass.
For gods sake.... what a mature argument. If you don't see the mess the government have made of this leaving us all in danger then you are truly blinkered. Even The Daily Mail is sticking the boot in.

Everyone is putting the boot in, it’s not really possible to say that anything is going well apart from we’re not yet at capacity, but by all accounts that’s going to change by next week- I know you have asthma, like everyone else take no risks and stay safe.

In terms of daily deaths nobody knows, hopefully not but going by current data it looks like it.

USA is going to be absolutely horrific, don’t see any way that can be avoided, they’ll be the most badly hit within one week.

Yeah had asthma all my life mate it’s not bad just the odd puff on the inhaler now and then usually gets worse summer time but if I pick up a cold etc or chest infection it’s usually a daily thing I’ll be on the inhaler,my worry is how easy it is to pick up partner or me has to go shops etc

Another update from my mate at UHCW and daughters mum at George elliot.

For want of a better description. Shits now hitting the fan in regards too patients. Starting to fill quicker. Daughter now going to be with me for the foreseeable as her mum now been reassigned to deal face to face with Covid patients.

240 ventilators awaiting at UHCW in ITU but hoping that capacity wont be breached. 70% of ambulances are bringing in Covid patients at thr mo.

These next 3 weeks are going to be horrible. Ive deleted Facebook etc and will avoid what news i can because i doubt i can handle the worry as a father.

Keep safe all

This which is obviously trajic was expected was it not , also the West Midlands is the worse outside of London for some reason so maybe some patients being shipped around , just a guess I hear Cov is not that bad in itself
Coventry has pretty high numbers when held against City’s of comparable size,
Nottingham, Leicester, Stoke etc,
Of the bigger Cities Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds etc Sheffield looks to have a
Disproportionately high number,
The number of cases per-cap do appear (not surprisingly) to correlate with the
Populations of Cities ‘though there are oddments.

On another note

When the FUCK is that clown Boris planning on coming out of hiding ?

Don’t be surprised, this is what he does. It’s a hard one now as normally he’d only come out of hiding when the heat has died down, but he can’t do that now as this is going to go on too long.

I thought Raab was next in line, the one the media were saying was awful at his conference (I didn’t see it), but I saw this evening that it could be Gove, who just got dismantled by all for being caught telling lies about ventilators. I dunno who you’d go for, Priti Patel? James Cleverly?

Ultimately Cummings calls the shots anyway.
