It pisses me off about the lack of ventilators but that I don't think specifically is a Tory fault, it's a systemic procurement failure. NHS Supply Chains work on pretty much a JIT basis, as brought in by the outgoing Labour government in 2010 when they privatised PASA and awarded a contract to DHL (a logistics company is the obvious choice for a JIT model tbf). It just isn't responsive enough to surges in demand and doesn't have any stockholding either.
