Question for the story boys on here.

At what stage do you accept the lack of ppe is a national scandal

He’s on now. Pressing the point on using equipment. He repeated it should be used properly. No apology just repeats the point he stressed. BBC interview

Now. Being pushed on trust now. Chief nursing officer talking about not trusting Hancock until every care provider is safe.
He says she’s an amazing woman. Still talking about making sure everyone has what they need. He won’t rest until everyone has what they need.

He should apologise and say it’s not good enough!! Moved on now and not had to answer.

He was telling nurses to use PPE for a whole 'session' and not change it after treating each individual patient.

I saw somebody make the point that Subway workers change their PPE more often than that just making sandwiches!

He’s said now 19 members of the nhs have died. Work ongoing to find out when they got it. I’m surprised it’s so low. He’s struck by bame immigrants who have given their lives in service. He should talk to priti Patel. Hollow words when lack of equipment has most likely caused their infection

Someone needs to,ask him if he is sorry about the 3 nurses who were pictured wearing bin bag instead of ppe and have now tested positive

This is the point. You can say all that, then someone in Labour might ask if you’re ok with terminally ill cancer patients being told they’re ‘fit to work’ and therefore having their benefits cut; and then they might ask you if you’re ok with people dying at a weight of about 6 stone because their universal credit was sanctioned as they were deemed not ill enough to not work.

Then you might get asked if you’re ok with the U.K. being the only western country to have shown a decline in life expectancy in the last few years, during which time your party has been in sole power. And it might be pointed out that whereas this Labour idiot said something nasty, your party has actually done things to kill its own people.

You’re looking for a pissing contest, and when the object of the competition is who can place less value on human life, I think you can tell what kind of society we are turning into.

Now are you still gonna give it the moral indignance all one way, or are you gonna concede that it’s not just the Labour people that have something of a chequered track record?
I totally agree politics aside we need a fairer society and now this has happened around the world maybe we will get it.
Been out walking these past Few weeks and the amount of people you pass and say hello is fantastic.
Me and the Mrs even got chatting to a guy yesterday that was a vicar( dressed in civies) and he said a prayer for us.
Very uplifting experience!!

The whole approach by our govt from day one was a national scandal, aside from USA the biggest catalogue of fuckups of any affected country on the planet. The only thing they got right was to keep Priti Patel out the way.

Oh sorry I forgot- she’s busy working out how to deport people while they’re working to try and save thousands of people.

Come on. It’s not like NHS staff are dying. Oh wait...

I’d say we’ve passed that point and the Tories know it, hence the blaming of NHS staff.

And their propaganda is already working, I've seen quite a few mentions recently on social media of people blaming NHS management for not having enough PPE in place.

Hancock is an absolute moron he should just fuck off.
He talked nothing but bullshit prior to this crisis and he's talked nothing but bullshit during it. He's a fucking weapon.

Agreed. He’s an embarrassment and utterly unqualified for a role of this importance. The classic, arrogant career politician stuck in campaign mode where he believes it’s ok the make promises and spout platitudes in the belief that he’ll muddle through and never be held to account. If, correction when the 100k tests target is not reached in a couple of weeks Boris must kick him out.

Everyone does ? Really? I didn't know it was you. Apologies for not knowing the twitter handle of every poster on SBT. Just really weird to make that tweet and then post it here in some strange game

But you're still banging on about that guy and not focusing on the real point which was the Sun's headline. But of course you need something to deflect away from that so you're just focusing on the guy, even though I said I don't know who he is nor do I care.

The point was that you randomly can find anything on twitter and say anything - your comment do you know how it works - well clearly I do and clearly I’d check a source before putting it on

All the others in the conversation at that time are on there following me and I follow them with one exception .

The fact that comment mysteriously appeared really should have made it obvious - it’s also pretty easy to work out whose who on there that were posting on here

For the hundredth time - you do realise the guy who tweeted it did not write the Sun headline? He is not the source of the Sun's front page.

The problem we have is the unqualified for the role comment applies across the spectrum. There is a dearth of political talent.
I still think there's a case for Tories calling a few old heads in. The PM won't be able to do his day to day duties for some weeks.

For the thousandth time I would put a tweet on from someone who wanted to make a point on terrorist deaths that was a lie and clearly wasn’t very bothered how many had died

The headline was ok anyway

Health ministers are rarely qualified for roles as most politicians specialise in arts subjects and very few I can think of have any medical qualifications. The shadow guy is a carbon copy of Hancock
