So what you're saying is that no one can use it who hasn't experienced it. If they do they're somehow stupid.
You don't have to have necessarily experienced WW2 to at least understand some of what ordinary folk had to endure and what qualities were required to survive it. That is , if you talk to those who endured it or read up on it.
