Said I hated it before the game and hate it even more now. I didn’t think we were far off picking up results before. I think this is moving backwards slightly. Offering absolutely nothing going forward and still look suspect defending against a very poor team. I really hope he changes it back. I’ll support him and the team whatever though.

They are always drab....we usually anything but. But we are today.
Really not getting the point of Kelly in this game against a lesser team.
I like how people think Brum aren’t any good. They’re not a bad team and we have to stop leaking goals and so far the system has worked. Marosi hasn’t had a save to make

Very tight game. I think the only shot on target was Walker's chin. The most exciting discovery was that Hyam is sporting a cad's moustache. If anyone needs a knock-off watch or some nylons, get up to St. Andrew's for 9:30, as Dom has a ready supply from within his gaberdine mac.

I think we look decent going forward but not enough options, presume McCallum is in for Giles as we need a more defensive full back but it shows going forward that we don't have Giles. Could do with a second striker for sure. So many in midfield which means we have a lot of possession but just can't get through them. They are pretty solid though despite looking a bit crap going forward. One of the weakest teams we've played for sure...

We aren't because we don't have any on the pitch. We're basically playing 4141 with 4 central midfielders in the 4.... McCallum is getting forward, but Dabo isn't, and Hamer is offering no width on the right.
We didn't only play 1 up front when Jobello last played. Jobello was right wing, godden lone striker and Hiwula was left wing

What you need in this formation is the 3 behind the striker to be getting up with and beyond Walker. It's a toothless formation without that and it hasn't happened because Mcfadzean is playing sweeper and the 3 get sucked in towards the DMs who are also deep, for the short ball from the CBs. It's hard to tell if it's just McFadz or your normal Robins first half tactical borefest. But there's been plenty of good stuff, occasional decent footy, some signs of learning the dark arts, Kelly and Dabo getting minutes. 0-0 might not be the best result but it draws a line in the sand for the season.

I'd argue walker needs to hold the ball up better and get his head up and wait for the runs etc... Godden much better at this as is I'd argue biamou.. But walker has the pace

Can't argue with that, based in first half. Dabo clearly not up to speed. Shipley not getting into the game
If they had packer forwards who pressed us, we'd be struggling. Only 2 concerns are set pieces and Bela v Dabo (as he will be blowing) I'd have Max or Baka to support Walker. Please don't lose this City...

McCallum gets forward to the edge of their box then turns back as there's nothing in front except Walker who's double marked.
The system has completely killed us going forward & we don't look any more solid defensively, just Birmingham are really poor. We've played in to their hands.

He just seems to be there and never inpacting. Shame as when he does impact its usually quite special
