It's not really trawling is it? Literally 5-10 seconds.

Took me a fair bit longer than that, maybe you’re just more of a Twitter pro than me. I would never have even thought to scroll through some random’s feed.

Still don’t get what point it proves, mind. Wow, here are some pictures of someone enjoying themselves where restrictions have been lifted, what a c**t, I’m outraged.

every single decision, except for pre-ordering vaccines, throughout this pandemic has been an absolute calamity delivered without clarity on purpose to allow the government to scapegoat everyone from the scientific community to the general public while all the time extorting billions from the public purse, if you voted for this shower then you're as much to blame.
Fair comment but a choice between Corbyn or Boris is a no brainer imo.
Whoever was in charge would have been hammered by the voting public no win situation for any government.

Londoners have ignored everything, I'm here, I see this bullshit all the time.

I ran through Borough Market yesterday and it appeared to be Tier Minus Six. Lads on the beers everywhere. Hard to believe that everyone outside the M25 have been good little obedient Tier 3 citizens either though.

If this strain is as bad as the government says it is, then we’re totally fucked, and the rest of the country too (packed trains or not). The London schadenfraude won’t last long when the whole country goes into lockdown in a couple of weeks.

no one knows how Corbyn would have performed, and he'd probably made as many fuck ups as Jonhson but one thing I would say is I'm fairly sure the pandemic wouldn't have been a greenlight for him to rinse the public purse awarding ill fated contracts to his mates

What the hell has happened over the last 24 hours? Seems like they let cases rip through schools in the SE and then spread a new strain all over the region.

Tye bubbles don’t work, they just make you worse and I know I’ll see Hancock’s face again...

It was out of date the second he said it. Wales had already announced that it was going a different path, Boris either just didn’t know/understand that when he said the devolved governments were in agreement or yet again he was telling bare faced lies in Parliament.

Nandy on this morning says Labour opposes even a staggered start to schools in January and schools have to remain open. Some decisive thinking for once.

Not that I agree with her heading off to see her elderly mum, but trawling through weeks of her Twitter feed to find examples of her doing Tier 2 stuff as if it proves some kind of point is just weird.

What happened to you in London that made you so upset about the place?
Dodgy boat trip ?

Johnson is a blundering buffoon who you wouldn’t trust to run you a bath let alone the country, all he has done is surround himself with incompetent fools like Hancock.

I saw that. She presumably would want them open but me continuing to teach in a farcical way inside a box. If you want them open let me teach normally or make me do it from home. This is either a threat or it’s not, so make the decision and abandon the ludicrous halfway house

Couldn’t agree more. It’s a threat though and they shouldn’t be going to school. My mum is a teacher and got covid from school and the kids are in “bubbles” of 60 which is stupid for fuck sake.

How do they expect to take any of the restrictions seriously when there are millions of kids mixing with each other and then going home?

Why is nobody questioning the train companies for selling so many tickets for said trains.

The train companies have already dealt with that. They do sell oly a limited number of tickets but people can buy off peak returns etc right up to the point of departure and use these and the sale of these tickets is not in their control.

Schools should have shut at prescribed junctures across the academic year and adjusted for in advance , likewise exam structure,.
They will be shut at some point in Jan regardless probably for approaching a month ,the other idea is poppycock.
The idea that the new Variant is behind this is spin ., however the stats choose to be presented the reality and evidence puts this Variant at 1000 against circa 600000-700000 regular strain..

Yes the bubbles do not represent anything resembling what was trailed through the summer to persuade parents there kids were Safe.

It should be in somebody's control, if only for reasons of public safety, even more so during a pandemic.

Well I already said I don’t think that’s smart, but what does it have to do with them enjoying themselves when restrictions didn’t exist? Your bitterness about London is on Alan Partridge levels, it’s hilarious.
