Peter Daszak isn’t a crank, and nor is it unreasonable to question the WHO investigations into the Wuhan lab.

But is there some kind of smoking gun here in this email to Fauci? Not that I can tell. Even the US intel agencies don’t know what’s going on. There isn’t this sudden mountain of evidence pointing towards a lab leak, although the quality of the outlets jumping up and down about the possibility certainly isn’t helping its credibility.

You are so busy trying to get one over on me, that you have kind of gone off on a tangent (which is probably deliberate, but anyway). Most of your post is inaccurate (what a surprise), and again, you are making yourself look silly.

I didn't say you were talking about Trump. I used him to argue my point, which was that a lot of the early lab theory ideas were pushed by him and actually not taken seriously as a result of it. Equally with Hancock, my use of the word 'you' was not specifically aimed at you personally. It was a turn of phrase which inferred that any people who criticise (an example) Hancock cannot possibly give Fauci a free pass.

There is a link in this very thread saying there is an investigation into this leak theory, so I haven't made up anything. I know you a desperate for China not to be in the wrong but using Bond films as a counter argument is weird. Something has obviously been off about this from the start, and whilst the bat theory is still most probable in my eyes, you cannot just dismiss the lab leak because it doesn't agree with your politics, which is exactly what you are doing.

We’re setting up schools in business parks and offices of course we can find more space.

Personally I’d reform the lot and move away from the idea of one well educated person teaching 30 to maybe one well educated person coordinating a team of 2/3 that teach 30.

You can also play around with the school day, some groups start earlier/finish later than others, send half the year for enrichment, etc etc.

And of course we can build more actual schools, though as they all look like car showrooms these days you may as well just take over offices.

The Blair government went on a big investment drive in school facilities in the late 90s and early 00s, but most buildings have not seen investment since around that time. £15 billion invested in a similar drive to create the learning space needed and to boost retention of staff (which is a bigger problem than recruitment) and you could achieve it.

Mrs BSB has basically been marking essays continuously for the past 2 months, the stack of papers never seems to get lower. Last week she was crying hysterically because she couldn’t physically find the space to put the latest block. I do well to finish at 9 most nights, for her she’s been regularly going till midnight-1.

Making our classes smaller by 5 or more would make a huge difference to that.

Even if we don't open up on 21 June surely by September pretty much everyone should have had one jab, think if we kept to the original timetable and 12 week gap (and we seem to be ahead and shortening the gap) everyone was double jabbed by mid-October.
