Ok you’re right Grendel it’s more environmentally friendly to get a plane than a carIn a gas guzzler? From central London - nah
He could have taken an electric or hybrid car too.4 hour drive…

Pipe down snowflake.I think Boris is finished. Starmer would have done an Ian botham and saved the planet by walking to
Cornwall - guys this is the woke thing that’s bringing the Tories down. He took a plane to Cornwall - he’s finished. I accept its Labour all the way now.

What by saying Boris didn't need to fly to Cornwall?
Hes going to talk about climate change, one of the aims of the government is to cub carbon emissions by 68% in 9 years time which will require nearly half of all UK cars to be zero emission cars. What a great example it could have been, instead of taking a private Jet of which the UK is one of the highest co2 emitting in Europe. Why?
I have never known a love affair so strong as Grendel and Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson. He can do no wrong in his eyes.

UK and France responsible for nearly 40% of all private jet emissions in Europe
A four-hour private flight emits as much carbon as the average person does in a yearwww.google.com

i think he probably can, he will just never acknowledge it “in public”.
what is weird to me is how from what I’ve seen he has no issue slating robins, who in my opinion by any measure is doing an exceptional job, and also appears to have no problem slagging off various members of our own playing squad. But at the same time, his politicians can do no wrong whatever they get up to. If one of the politicians he likes appeared on the steps of Downing St dressed as Satan announcing a new policy of culling every first born child, he’d find a way to justify it, probably by saying that that it is in fact better than what they’re doing in France/ Germany/ Italy etc
but life goes on
Would you or drive if given the choice?
I actually doubt you lot actually care that he got on a plane to Cornwall either , its just something else to argue about
Given I don't drive I would get the train. If I was going to a conference that would feature discussions on being more green, even more so
Oh dear that chip is dislocating that shoulder isn’t it.
Not though if you are in France. So if it’s in say Calais he should fly?
ha- no no chips here. Don’t know enough about politics to get seriously involved in all this, so I’m not someone you’ll be able to lure into your WUM schtick.
You don’t need to have Philosoraptor’s education in politics to see you’re massively blinkered though
At least you acknowledge unlike Shmeee philosoraptor has an education in politics - I’ll take that

Eurostar would be pretty convenient
How is there even a take? It’s barely news worthy, but that didn’t stop Williamson spieling out some tosh and Dan Wootton sending out some drivel too.
Probably can’t afford the train fare on his measly salary.Given I don't drive I would get the train. If I was going to a conference that would feature discussions on being more green, even more so
i was going to go on that, used it in 2001. Then I saw how much it costs now, my god. They’re not doing a great job trying to get people to use it instead of flying at those prices
