Just as a side note, did anyone try getting a ticket in the Bournemouth end? Something myself and others have done in the past when wanting to attend a game when tickets are sold out for Ccfc fans on numerous occasions.
Sold out according to the club

Nah it's much easier to type on here and complaining someone elses behalf than actually go and watch.

Sold out and you need a certain amount of points to get one anyway.

The most surprising thing to me is that people didn't know this was happening. Its been going on as long as I've been a supporter. In fact the first game I went to back in '86 against Arsenal was because the bloke over the road from where I lived was in a supporters group who had an allocation of tickets and hadn't used them so asked my Dad if he wanted to buy one.

I was a member of a supporters group back in the 90s that got an allocation of tickets. Its not a new thing and I'm not sure why its come as a shock to so many people.

That’s not ok is it?
As I said to grendel. DB has been very clear about the supporters forum being the link with the club and no favourites. Including treating all groups in the same way

it’s not - they’ve sponsored players haven’t they and that’s I assume why tickets are supplied. 4 supporter groups sponsor players 2 others by hangers on and Tyler Walker is sponsored by individuals. It’s pathetic really - as you well know I wanted an involvement and got nowhere as it’s a closed shop of hangers on

This is a mental post, stop trying to put it on people for not knowing.

The club advertised 1300, but they didn't say 120 of them had been deducted already.

It's that simple

Why so angry

You only have to look at what groups sponsor players to see what happens - it’s an old boys network rather than a serious commercial organisation - show big Dave my attempts in this area of you like - it’s a very poorly run business
Sorry I’m not angry just don’t like gossip and misdirection.

I'm not putting it on anyone. Just surprised seemingly nobody had a clue this was happening when its been going on for decades.

this isn’t the same - it’s really simply that in my opinion Tynan Scope is a L2 commercial manager and thinks he has to provide handouts to attract sponsorship so ends up with closed deals to people and still offers inducements to them rather than going out to the commercial market and getting sponsors as a championship club

What’s been gossip and misdirected?
LW have admitted getting tickets prior to sale, that’s the issue when the club say full phase 1 sale is open but it’s not as they have allocated 120 already

I emailed Bournemouth hospitality too, you know because buying your way in way over ticket price seems to be normal for us, but they're also sold out

Try sneaking in as a ball boy - joking aside, I went to Reading v Sheff Utd at the old ground, Elm Park, with a few Sheffield mates, in the late 80s, We spent too long in the pub, so got there part way through the first half. Somehow found an unattended door and found ourselves in a passageway that led out onto the pitch on the half way line. Got led round to the Sheff Utd end and watched the rest of the game for free.

Yeah sure it could happen.

I've managed to get some tickets now, but I've had to pay over face which is shite.

No idea what esb is and if I have it wrong I retract it, but 2 people from forum who represent us attended a game that I know of, my assumption as rep's was it was you and Mark. If not perhaps he can clear it up?
I’m sure he can. And induviduals who’ve worked and assisted the club in any aspect of all offered the same opportunity I don’t have a problem with

To a supporters club member? If so you're part of the problem now. If not there are others who are worse profiteering out of fellow city fans and buying them encourages them to do it again so you're part of the problem. Which side of the richeous fence are you now on? Is the grass any greener?

Fucking great news. See you all in Sheffield, and good luck to the 50% of that attendance that are going to the south coast too.

I'll be with you in spirit.
