Another PCR after 4 days maybe? lol
Arenā€™t you on holiday? Sounds like thatā€™s going well.

Too late Juggy has over 300 of them and we've given a few out to some lads from Brum sorry. L&W got 42, Southam might have a couple of spares for you. If we can't get rid of all ours I'll give you first dibs on the details of the ebay auctions.

I now have to lockdown until new year but then restrictions will be in place and they expect not to see my mates all of us who have had it.

Ainā€™t gonna happen.

"rules out Christmas restrictions"

What a hero. Just after then. So obvious.

Iā€™ll take that. Best we could expect. The alternative is tougher restrictions brought in now ahead of the data on severity.

Iā€™ve just seen the USA hasnā€™t even been making LFs readily available. People had to buy and reclaim cost. Only now are they sending a load out to people

They also get huge bills for any covid treatment. Mate of mine was working on tour in the US and got it. Was isolating in a hotel and was getting worse so asked for a doctor to come out. $5K for one doctors call out!

Yeah, to get anywhere near that would take years or decades. During which time the public will have numerous opportunities to vote out the government. The NHS being one of voters top voting issues

Do I think NHS will alter. I think it will have to to some extent. I donā€™t have the answers but hope investment in modernisation will help. We also need a society that doesnā€™t just take it for granted though and takes more personal responsibility for their own health. Wrong thread so Iā€™ll leave it there

When the population has been given the opportunity to have three jabs the vaccinated will be three jabs. Until then its two jabs as proof of vaccination.

Tell you what though, making sure it doesn't end up divided by free care for certain diseases and not others, is the best argument I have why unvaccinated people shouldn't be treated differently ref: Covid and the NHS...

Loving the idea people in the U.K. are actively harming their own health because itā€™s free to fix.

*Groan*. Hardly what I said. Iā€™m saying that as a nation we need to start looking after ourselves better and if we do, that will hopefully reduce pressure on the nhs.

Check alcohol and obesity related issues for starters. If people were paying related to their behaviours I bet many would soon start to consider their actions/choices more. Iā€™m saying that as someone whos own actions have caused work for the nhs. We all do but some more than most

Having private health care lead to the oxycontin epidemics the States.
They also got huge issues with other drugs, alcohol, obesity and shooting each other.

Eye watering medical bills don't seem to stop them.

Read what I said, people dying from Omicron.

It will get to a point when the science and statistics just get pushed to the side and ignored because they don't fit.

Science and statistics have been pushed to the side for empty platitudes, hypersensitiveness, and lack of perspective for a long time already unfortunately.

Boris will be desperate to avoid any restrictions if he can, purely as it would be more popular. I mean he was always going to be a one term PM but it can't have been fun to have the Ally Pally chanting they hate you šŸ˜‚

Just came across this, interesting rebuttal to the ā€œmodellers always get it wrongā€ line

Well they do though dont they?

If Sage were correct throughout this pandemic we"d have about 10 million deaths and the NHS would no longer function.

You love doom and gloom you do

You do understand modelling? It's not exact and it is based on certain circumstances which mean once those things change i.e.measures are taken then thus the model will be out of date.

This is GCSE stuff
