He'll only have 12 months left on his contract, my guess would be somewhere around 2, possibly 2.5 million
19 years old at the time and playing as a regular.Bristol City turned down £8m for central midfielder Massengo, the one who couldn't turn over our ten men a few weeks ago.

Teams pay a lot for potential, Hamer will be 25 come the summer window with a year on his contract and he's had an up and down season.
the same last season too, hardly featured 2nd half of it.19 years old at the time and playing as a regular.

We are a worse team without him and the chances of our owners investing all that 2 million to even attempt to adequately replace him is non existent. So I'd rather keep than sell on for that, personally.I think if we doubled our money at this stage, it's probably a fair deal. Would I be happy with 2 million, absolutely not. But i'm also realistic, he's nearing 25, the second half of last season he was dreadful and whilst he's shown flashes of brilliance this year, for me he's failed to deliver.
Then we end up losing him for nothing and definitely having nothing to put back into the squadWe are a worse team without him and the chances of our owners investing all that 2 million to even attempt to adequately replace him is non existent. So I'd rather keep than sell on for that, personally.

Wait so have we ruled out him extending his contract? I hadn't. But yes, of course 2 mil is better than nothing at all. Then we end up losing him for nothing and definitely having nothing to put back into the squad
Based on his comments about wanting to test himself at a higher level I think he'd likely refuse.Wait so have we ruled out him extending his contract? I hadn't. But yes, of course 2 mil is better than nothing at all.

I get you but I'm not convinced he'd get a higher level than the Championship right now.Based on his comments about wanting to test himself at a higher level I think he'd likely refuse.

Not beyond the realms of possibility though that another Championship side pick him up at double the wage he gets here plus a healthy signing on bonus. That’s the main concern for me, and if he isn’t signing a contract imminently then it may be best to move him on and get some funds at least.
Edit: although quite possible we have a year option in our favour. After all, that’s what we tend to do now.
If he was 10 years young and playing like this he would be a child prodigyWe won't sell anyone this January unless a ridiculous offer comes in (for who though?).
If Mcfadz was 10 years young and playing like this he'd be off somewhere, his form and quality is insane!
Same nationality you never knowso is hamer going to villa or have they settled with coutinho as a second choice?
I wonder if we'll do the same to be honest. I'd argue only Jack Burroughs loan has been classed as 'successful' so far.I notice several PL clubs are recalling players they have on loan as they aren't getting enough game time
Possibly a few opportunities for us there?
i assumed all the recalls were for cover in case of covid cases?I notice several PL clubs are recalling players they have on loan as they aren't getting enough game time

I was listening to this subject on Talksport the other day I’m sure I heard clubs can re-call loaned out players if they have played less than 5O% of games if it’s over 50% they can’t break the deal if it’s a season long line.I notice several PL clubs are recalling players they have on loan as they aren't getting enough game time

Of course it isn’t right because 1. Talksport 2. slowpokeThat can’t be right cos Giles has played 21 times for Cardiff.

Doubt we can afford himCardiff are in talks with Dijon over Jonathan Panzo. We were linked last season, wonder if we're still interested, or if we're happy with JCS
Think it was the one on at 10 amWhich show was this?
Strange career to date, left Chelsea for first team football but struggled to get in the side everywhere he’s been.
