Where did I ever say he was shit, I never slag players on here. but I don’t have to justify anything our manager did by hardly ever picking him.
You have an opinion but have nothing to back it up. Now hiding behind Robins! You said he offers nothing apart from scoring goals and that's his actual job! If that isn't saying he is shit then what is?

Would love us to bring in Cameron Archer from Villa if their is any substance to the rumours.

Don’t think it will happen though.

Squad needs additions quickly. We're aging at a rapid rate. Tavares turned 21 yesterday (too old to have not broken through now so best bin him off) Marco Rus turns 19 today (hasn't been on the bench yet and he's same age as maatsen, get rid) and waghorn turns 32 today. (Too old and past it)

Had a dream that we signed Clinton Morrison. Robins and Boddy were telling fans that we should be thankful and that it was brilliant business, but the general consensus wasn’t a good one!

So based on that, I’d change my team to:

Moore
Hyam Fadz JCS
Kane Hamer Sheaf Bidwell
O’Hare Waghorn
Györkeres

S: Wilson, Dacosta, Rose, Maatsen, Allen, Shipley, Tavares

Sounds like DaCosta could be on the way out.

Would be a really decent window if so.

Surly offloading Pask, Hilssner, Walker and Jobello got rid of Bright and no replacement and could be now Da Costa on the move we should be able to bring one final one in...Pusb

Offloaded yes but likely still paying the majority of their wages, especially if it’s true that Hilssner is on close to 4k a week…

That's a nice packet he's picking up each month what's the likes of Kelly on?

Yes likely to happen obviously with Kane and Dabo out , we need cover but appears they are not long term

could be league one or a club abroad

Would be an amazing window in terms of culling dead wood if so. I can’t think of any other senior players getting little game time.

In terms of minutes it’s only Wilson (reserve GK fair enough), Shipley (Only just started playing his way onto the pitch and could have gone), Kelly and Waghorn (both injury problems), Bidwell (just signed), and Eccles (kid) who have played fewer than half the available minutes. Edit: and Jones.

That’s an incredibly lean squad of 20 or so senior pros.

Usual question @Skybluebeliever - you think this might allow someone to come in? I think we will get someone. The club musst be happy with the amount of loans we have got out the door.
I don’t think so , do not think they will look for a striker , a young attacking midfielder perhaps on loan but I would think they would need de costa and Shipley to go first which could unlikely

If we keep Shipley till the end of the season we let him go on a free which seems a waste (unless he does a Allen and earns himself a new contract but it’s one more space we can’t replace and ideally need better)

Personally, if we can sell him in Jan I’d take the money rather than losing him on a free when he might not play much anyways. Any money we get keeps us afloat and means we can try avoid selling someone else

We've got a one year option on Shipleys contract so don't have to let him go for free in the summer.

After signing bidwell and maatsen back shippers will be benched again best for his career to go play football somewhere at his age

No but if we take up the option we might end up with him again next season and that’s not right for Shipley or the club

Agreed, sell him now and make a few bob and be done with it. We have Jones who we can play AM instead of him and soon will have two left backs and Josh Reid as 3rd place back up. Then we have O’Hare with Allen or Jones for AM.

Free’s up a bit of wages and hopefully brings some coin in so we can look to get someone else and think more long term picture

Alternatively, take the option and make him reserve LWB next season and use the resource we would’ve spent there elsewhere.

Would he be happy to sit on the bench for most of next season?

Question: Does everyone still consider Jones a better back-up for O'Hare than Shipley?

If Jodi is out of contract in the summer, and is seemingly behind Shipley in the depth chart, why not keep Jordan around?
