The petulant children are out in force this evening. Quickly forgotten where we were a few years ago, lads?
Was it in L2 due to horrific mismanagement and lack of appropriate investment from our owners?

I am content we exist - that should be the bare minimum, have some ambitionBased on what?
I am content we exist
That we are competing in every game in the championship
That we have progressed every season for 5 years
I’m so annoyed that with a little investment we could progress quicker
I recognise we disappeared from the championship mainly because we spent what we didn’t have and don’t want to repeat it
We're not fucking Forest Green Rovers getting nosebleeds from being in the Championship. Just surviving at this level is the height of your ambition? Sad.The petulant children are out in force this evening. Quickly forgotten where we were a few years ago, lads?

Realistically we're a few points out of the playoffs with games in hand. You think that if we called an U23 PL team they'd tell us we can't have a player because we were in L2 recently. Pathetic lack of ambition. No, you fucking lunchbox. But I’m realistic of where we currently are. I’d love a signing or 6, but I’m not going to spit my dummy out like you bellends if we don’t get them.

Go back further and why these owners had the chance to buy us I was getting at and they then spent what they didn’t make then turned tap offWell no ironically we disappeared because the owners turned off the tap and changed strategy to one of busting the stadium
Because the council rejected all the other bidders that wanted the arenaGo back further and why these owners had the chance to buy us I was getting at and they then spent what they didn’t make then turned tap off
I’m not and think we mostly agreeI am content we exist - that should be the bare minimum, have some ambition
That we are competing in every game in the championship - because of a once in a generation manager, we'll fall back down without backing
That we have progressed every season for 5 years - same reason as above, we've hit our ceiling now and are much more likely to regress
I’m so annoyed that with a little investment we could progress quicker - why spend your time arguing against people that make this very point then?

If we were to get relegated again people would argue it was no bother because it's better than L2. Loads of you fucking pricks probably weren't there freezing your arse off with 5k at the arena getting beaten by tiny clubs anyway.

No because we spent what we didn’t have and Co op called in their debtsBecause the council rejected all the other bidders that wanted the arena
That people are arguing this is ok is startling. We've cut loads of costs from our august squad, are desperately short in AM and have been bringing in over budget all season.
Fucking Stockholm syndrome.
Having an AM to back up O'Hare could be everything and cost the sum of fuck all when we've been bringing in more than budgeted.Where on gods green earth does the logic of an unproven unplayed U23 Prem loanee mean the difference between play offs or not? The logic behind your whines are ludicrous.
Have you written to Boddy to say we should sign someone because you watched a game in Lg2 when it was a bit chilly?

Freely admit they are not just the ones that are currentlyAs above, they got it because the Council didn't want anyone with an interest in buying a stake in the stadium. The attempt to defend the indefensible is admirable but at some point you must admit they really are just not the right people to have in charge
We budgeted for 17k crowds and we recorded record ticket sales. Can you show us what the budget was and compare to actual ytd
Honestly, we need to just settle for the inevitable uneventful window and mid table finish. Plus, we do more business in the summer anyway so that's something to look forward to.
I'm hoping that's the plan. Realistically we have nothing to play for this season, spunking money on a flashy loan we have no chance of keeping wouldn't be a sensible move, it may add a few more to the crowd but it's just a bit short sighted. Robins will start to be tempted by stuff elsewhere unless he gets his targets in the off season.Honestly, we need to just settle for the inevitable uneventful window and mid table finish. The reason we have to look at U23s is because they're a cheap option. Apparently even that is beyond the realms of possibility though.Yeah Im Slightly perplexed by this prem u23s obsession..

Imagine having this little ambition.

Serious question. What are we going to do if COH gets injured? So according to this thread, we’re after an unproven, prolific, AM with a lethal eye for goal and is good enough to displace COH and best of all, costs fuck all!
Fuck me there must a conveyor belt somewhere with these boys just waiting to be snapped up.
Your pathetic passive aggressive remarks about lack of ambition are clouding a basic understanding of football.

At the end of the day it makes no sense throwing money at a team that is already over-achieving.
Because, just like our U23s going out, the parent club wants them to develop in the mens game over the U23s.Do you know why they're cheap?
