Teams get away with time wasting because there is literally no punishment.

Watched an AFL game last night first time. They stop the clock every time it goes out of play.
Id prefer two 30 minute halves but the clock stops whenever it goes out

Well that was pretty dreadful. Too many players having very poor games. Hyam and Godden probably the most wasteful. Only O'Hare and Sheaf come out of that with any credit.
