You think? On chances we're lucky it wasn't a bigger defeat

Agreed it was too open, and the early errors cost us - but, we really didn't have the rub of the green. I do have a strong sky Blue bias, though !

Not sure how you can totally write off a season which you were also totally unfancied for, just because you didn’t go on some magical Cinderella run all the way to the playoffs.

A lazy straw man of the point being made.

Undone by being totally disjointed in the first half. Not sure what was going on there. In fairness Hull looked decent and took advantage. The only thing positive from the game was the performance of Ben Sheaf. Apart from one error first half he looked real class in that position.
Are you joking?

I think we are too nice a team , we haven’t got anyone in the refs ear . A player skilled in the dark arts like a Dennis wise or Doyle could of made the difference to the result tonight
Godden for me is not a captain and comes across too nice on the pitch. McFazean is more likely to get into the refs' face

What exactly are we wasting? The opportunity to outperform our unfancied status even more than we already are?

I understand the disappointment at not doing even better, but given the limitations we’re working under, it’s hardly cause for jumping off a bridge or saying we’ve totally screwed things up, is it? The progress this year has been fantastic at times.

7 mins Saturday
4 mins today

Ruins the game for me they can get away with wasting time and it not be added on

Makes no difference we wouldn’t have scored but beggars belief

7 on Saturday
4 tonight!!!

Wow
I thought when we got out of L1 it would get better and we'd see more footballing sides but if anything it's got worse.

“Dark arts”….“Need a Michael Doyle type in the side”….All you needed to say was that Robins should have made his subs earlier and played it over the top to Tavares and you would have had a full set.

I missed the first twenty minutes and their goals. Moore at fault for the first, judging from the replay. Their second goal was a class finish but it all stemmed from Hyam's poor pass, right?

Otherwise I struggle to get the blanket negativity going on here. A bad result, but not that bad a performance.

I'm the most miserable Sky Blue there is, but our play was decent and entertaining. Hull put everyone back and we couldn't break them down but we were a level above them in terms of ability. Apart from Lewis-Potter they looked pretty limited.

It was manifestly a goal to us near the end. If technology either can't prevent or leads to those errors, what's the point in having it?

Luton 2.0.

No plan. B. 85 minutes to pull something back and the way we played you’d of thought it was a pre season game.

So frustrating after the way we played on Saturday but I think everyone can see the squad depth has finally caught up with us.

I think from the position we got ourselves in, and how inconsistent the chasing pack have been, it’s got to be a disappointment to see it chucked away in this fashion.

Not so down about the results, but the performances and managerial decisions since October combined with lack of reinforcements in January.

Just need someone else to highlight the reason for that last one.

The striker for Hull was good too

On the tv it looked like a clear goal. All the players stopped and just waited for the ref to give it. They’ll be a reason. I reckon the ref had his watch on do not disturb

He had his new Hull City Fc watch on, delivered in an envelope full of cash.

Unless getting in the ref’s ear is suddenly worth a goal or two under new FIFA rules then I doubt it would make that much of a difference.
I think getting in the ref’s ear about O’Hare being hacked and the timewasting is important.

Midfielders are better captains. Refs usually hang around the middle and there’s no point a striker jogging around the middle pecking the ref’s head.

Hull don’t score goals and we contrived to make them look like a free scoring side

we obsess with 3 at the back even when we don’t have 3 centre halves. It was even more bizarre in the second half - they packed midfield abs strolled through the game

We concede first so many times you are never getting away with it all the time

Dire performance

Time wasting is becoming a joke now. Would live a ref to give 2 yellows and send a player off particularly a keeper, as well as add on a correct amount of time like 10 mins. It would stop it within 2 weeks
