So this year he’s missed 17/41 = 58% played
Last year 10/41 = 73% played
Year before 5/44 = 88% played.
You’re really not comparing that to Godden who’s played 50% of games last 2 years
I don't either, and as you said his goal record speaks for itself, but I am bored of the debate as he just says the same thing every time. Anyway back to Allen.I don't agree with you on godden tbh
Yeah they do play more, hence why I’ve done it as a percentage of games played. I’d suggest if we played more games Godden would be injured even moreHaalands team play probably 20 more games a season in other competitions, by his levels definition he's injury prone

Well yes obviously he averages a goal a game, and this is his only really injury hit seasonWould you buy haaland who is out so often every season ?

he really hasn’t, as I’ve just got the stats for you. You seriously cannot think paying 8k a week for a striker who plays 50% of games is good businessSo basically you really aren't that atesed about injury records then .. in the league he's missing a massive percentage for them over the last 2 seasons .. you're moving goalposts .. so you're issue with godden is elsewhere
He's scored about 20% of our league goals in 22 gameshe really hasn’t, as I’ve just got the stats for you. You seriously cannot think paying 8k a week for a striker who plays 50% of games is good business
Utterly cluelessDon’t rate him, watching him try and challenge players twice the size of him in the middle of the park is cringeworthy at times. Makes lots of safe passes but is never going to split a defence or score goals. Fine to have around the squad to fill in a few places in midfield, but never a starter for me, bit of a nothing player and if it came to it I’d rather let him go and get a midfielder who can stand in in either the AM, playmaker or DM roles.
So you think 8k a week on a striker who plays 50% of games is good business? He's scored about 20% of our league goals in 22 games
12 goals over 46 would be a fair return
So you think 8k a week on a striker who plays 50% of games is good business?
It’s a question for you, do you think it’s good business?I think k Robins knows more than you parks ..and that's ultimately where the argument stops lad
It’s a question for you, do you think it’s good business?
The fact you aren’t answering suggests you probably think it isnt
Godden scores goals, he’s had a couple of injuries for sure but he’s our second top scorer with a fantastic strike rate. Anyone slating him is pretty cluelessI think k Robins knows more than you parks ..and that's ultimately where the argument stops lad

Exactly. It's pointless debating with him on this.So
Jamie Allen
Yes but he does all the other stuff which build up to goals and breaks down opposition attack/counter attacksHe’s probably a reasonable earner.
He’s a squad player really. People have moaned about o hare and his goal contribution
Allen has 1 goal this season in 2,500 minutes and other than one season at burton his record is consistent
1 goal a season
1 assist as well
he’s hard working and can make easy passes but that’s it - worst of the midfield 4 for sure
Allen is probably the best of a poor bunch of fringe players who get more playing time than they should only because we are so short of quality at Championship level.
Based on ability, he'd probably be a regular starter for no more than 50% of L1 teams.

Played well recently fair play to him can’t fault his effortSo
Jamie Allen
Walker another high earner, £750k paid and on Pompey’s bench.
I think if you’ve watched the games this year you would agree Allen has been brilliant. His energy and work rate is very important to how we play.
It is the people that don’t attend games criticising him because he they don’t see him on the scoresheet. He will be an important player next year.
Bollocks. I’ve attended almost every home game and watched almost every away on iFollow. I’d wager Grendel is the same. This is just a lazy dismissal of people who disagree with you.
