Absolutely nobody has said Allen is better but that is now his go-to deflection. Hilarious.

Yes, we operate at a loss, albeit a moderate one compared to other clubs, yet you want them to spend more. Abosultely fucking batshit that is.

no we are losing millions a year and have no assets to offset against

hes not good enough and it seems is one of the highest paid players - he needs managing out the club
Can’t believe I’m agreeing with Grendel but he is bang in the money here. Kelly is no way good enough for the championship. Football is a ruthless game and just because he had been a big part of our journey is not a reason to keep him

Yes and Robins has shown he can be ruthless when he got rid of Doyle, who, apart from Grendel, knows Robins will not offload him in the summer

None of us know what the income and expenditure is for this season (first championship season post Covid). You might be right, depends on the new contacts but there has also been millions of additional ticket revenue compared to last year.

I have no issue with us living within our means (and sometimes having to sell players to do that) but I do have an issue if SISU taking exorbitant interest payments starts impacting the team

The EFL loan wipes that Steve just by itself

Gutted. Lapses in concentration cost us everything today.

Agreed - but found myself strangely more bothered about how the part-timers (no offence intended) would react in terms of re-attending, rather than how disappointed as i was (as a hardened 'used to it' City fan). Shame, but doesn't tarnish the overall season.

Never seen you so busy on a match thread Grendel. Almost silent the other week when we hammered Fulham or sheff United.

Everyone banging on about how much we need to spend to replace our "big 3" might i remind you "we signed him on a free" and "he only cost us a million" there are players out there who can makectje step up, Adebayo at Luton cost a reputed £250,000.

Oh dear I mentioned this and Grendel didn’t agree, so sorry you are wrong

The vast majority would have attended this season already a number of times. Despite the good gate, I still know more city fans not at the game today than who were there, many of whom have been semi regular this season but just couldn't make it today. We have a large pool of supporters who pick and choose, all that's happened today is that more of them have picked and chosen the same game. We haven't just conjured up new fans from nowhere who will not return because of one defeat!

Did you post at all on the Birmingham game Nick?

At moments we had them really penned in but their quality just became apparent, we need to really address the numbers of times we concede first, we have a great team spirit but we make everything an up hill battle.

smart recruitment in the summer and we go again, been an amazing season to be a Cov fan.

Nah I didn't. Couldn't watch it unfortunately.

Won though and not selective depending on result. not going to try and bullshit that I was though.

so when I wasn’t watching the Fulham game why was that different
