My only surprise is that people are surprised...

The cynical side of me says it's because they already know that she will conclude they did little wrong & it will be a complete whitewash.

Don't forget, this is the same Sue Gray who effectively answers to the PM & is of course notorious for guiding MPs how to subvert FOI requests, "double delete" e-mails & cover their tracks.

There's been zero evidence put forward to ahow that productivity is an issue, just like there's zero evidence to justify a target of 91,000 job cuts being made. The insinuation is very much "if we get rid of thousands of these lazy, expensive civil servants we can afford to support 'taxpayers' through the cost of living crisis"

After 2019, the Tories looked set for another decade in power and they’re complacent now.

If Labour could make real inroads into Scotland, there’s a pathway to power for them. Would rely on Lib Dems making gains in Tory held areas whilst holding off the Green vote.

Knowing the left, it would not surprise me if the Green vote continues to cannibalises the Labour vote. Failure to win in 2024 puts Labour in a very dangerous position.

If I were the civil service union I'd be trying to organise ensuring everyone followed the desire of the ministers and have everyone turn up to the office. Really look silly when wokers coming into the office are less productive than being at home cos they've got nowhere to work and being sent home.

If I were the civil service union I'd be trying to organise ensuring everyone followed the desire of the ministers and have everyone turn up to the office. Really look silly when wokers coming into the office are less productive than being at home cos they've got nowhere to work and being sent home.

Have said it numerous times when senior managers are being infantile with people who have real issues with health or care.

Its interesting that the people most against staff wfh as they think it means people aren't working are senior managers & directors who had the option to wfh pre-covid.

Given that pretty much all the available data shows, at worst, the same level of productivity you can only assume its a reflection of their own behaviour when they were wfh.

What I can't understand is how you can bring the country to a standstill by going on strike, if apparently you're doing sod all when you're at work!
