They probably are dyed in the wool Tories. Hence they booed Boris. Boris’ New Tories is anything but traditional Tories. It always had more of its share of madcap extremists decrying that it isn’t 1950 anymore but they always kept them to the back benches where they couldn’t do any damage while the more “sensible” elements in the Tories were front of shop. It’s now a party of traditional Tory back benches from front to back.
