The story is not going away which says to me the club are more than happy to not make a solid stance. With Vik it was put to bed quick 20mill or stop bothering us was the cry when Boro phoned. With O hare it seems they are not making it clear or are making it very clear its about valuation and are willing to deal if met.
If that's the case i hope its with a but, if you don't meet valuation by this day it will go higher closer to the season it gets. The way this is being handled Its a terrible message to the fans, i trust MR but i don't trust these owners or DB, if they pull the rug from us the momentum gained will be lost in one day. We all understand this is a business, but we all want the club to compete, improve and progress. This to me doesn't feel like that, its feels like the old club coming back now they have our attention and already have the money.
If i was the owners id wait till Jan, see how all falls and where we are. And by then his value maybe higher and bigger clubs could meet a valuation quicker with a buy to stay on loan until end of season. Id really hesitate also to sell to a rival when in truth he is one of the best in his position in this league. And that again says we don't see ourselves as rival we are already signalling we cant compete.
All wil play out and im sure MR will be in the loop, but COH is not the one id sell.
