I'm not one of the Starmer haters, but this is a major fuckup.

Well it makes no sense-don’t vote against anything because you’re the opposition and thus don’t have the numbers?

Blairite scum:

As you’re not forthcoming I’ve been looking and I can find:

- Covid tiers
- The above welfare cap (Corbyn also abstained)
- FSM Lords bill which wasn’t even whipped but was a huge bill involving all sorts of stuff. And Labour we’re working on another policy.

I mean either you accept abstention as a valid tool in Parliament for divisive bills and sidestepping opposition traps, or you end up arguing Corbyn and Whittome are third way Blairite snakes:

Nothing says real leadership than behaving like a cock.

If your boss explicitly tells you not to do something very publicly and you do it anyway, what do you think would happen?

This is an SCG member making trouble and not a lot else.

Regardless of whether you like him or not the polls clearly show he's not a dud.

What are the main 3 attributes would you say of Mr Starmer

Well even Corbyn was ahead in the polls in 2019. He is coasting mostly on what he isn’t rather than what he is and if we get a non criminal PM who isn’t mired in sleaze he’ll find the going tougher.

When? You mean prior to the locals when everyone was protest voting and both main parties were in free fall?

Well regardless of why he's ahead in the polls he is, by quite a long way, so surely deserves a crack at a GE, like shmmeee says.

Seems much more sensible to get behind the Labour Party, whether you're keen on Starmer or not, and get Labour in government than snipe at absolutely everything he does and allow the Tories another 5 years because Starmer isn't the perfectly pure version of an ideal Labour leader.

His chancellor is practically a Tory 😂

So not a Tory then. Good.

Which sums you up

If a steaming dog turd had a red Rosette on it you’d think “labour not Tory im voting for it”

Why doesn’t Rayner stand on a picket line and sieze her chance

Starmer has given me more reasons not to vote for him than to vote for him. Thus far he’s

Laughed at my profession
Laughed at industrial action in a Labour stronghold
Agreed on air that young people are wasters
Cancelled his pledge to stand with unions-along with all the others he made to win the leadership
Sacked people from the shadow cabinet for the crime of going to a picket

Add in to the bargain that my local Labour MP ignores correspondence and has also ignored local requests from RMT members to go to a picket, you tell me why I should vote for them. If the answer is ‘they’re not Tories’, it’s probably not going to be enough to hold at an election.

Do you consider the current Labour poll lead to be a protest against Johnson or tangible support for Starmer?

its clearly got fuck all to do with Starmer he’s the IDS of the left (sorry slightly right)

Not remotely true given I've voted for 3 different parties in the 4 elections I've voted in.

And it's a bit rich coming from you given you quite literally did vote for a steaming dog turd at the last election because he had a blue tie on.

Not to mention the behaviour and criminality you're willing to ignore as long as they wear a blue tie.

Dont worry he will get rid of that if it upsets the Middle classes in Surrey

OK mate, let’s make one of your favourite bets. If a Labour govenrment ever proposes banning striking and stripping workers rights to the level of the current Tory government, I’ll donate £1000 to the charity of your choice. Hell, make it £10,000

No I voted Johnson as he was removing the Corbyn threat - I’ve voted green as much as Tories at elections

I’ve asked many times and you can’t say anything positive about Starmer can you?

He keeps bringing up the Wakefield by election which was about the textbook example of a protest vote. Genuinely the guy he’s just sacked showed more gumption and passion in that GMB segment than Starmer has in 3 years

Tell you what let’s change that slightly. If the tories introduce any such legislation in the next two years would you pay it if Starmer doesn’t repeal it?
