Wake up sheeple. That's exactly what they want you to want.

Now they've convinced you that you want it too.

My tin hat is big enough for all of us, come on under. 🤣

Actually, the WEF would veto any attempt to establish an equitable, international anti-fraud network. Claus Schwab wants a big ol’ Reset, and my tin hat can’t take it.

Places that make it unnecessarily difficult to get a visa. I'm travelling to west Africa for work and for me to get a short stay business visa I need to have an introduction letter from my CEO here, the country director there, flights and hotels booked as well as submitting loads of other documents.

I went to East Africa earlier in the year and all I had to do was apply and pay the fee.

I got tourist e-visas for Kenya and Tanzania a couple of months ago and it was simplicity personified - and only $50 a shout. I would assume a work visa is similarly simple.
India, on the other hand, is a fucking shambles!

why are they even a thing? You don’t get fees for buying in store to cover rent utilities and staffing.
its a historical thing. back in the day every venue had a physical box office you could go to and buy tickets. except if you didn't live locally that was a pain so other places would sell tickets, like poster place in Cov, and there would be a booking fee added which the place selling the tickets would get.

The same principle still applies, if you put on a show and sell on ticketmaster you get all the face value of the ticket but ticketmaster get all the various booking fees that are added.

Makes sense for proper third party sellers but seems a dumb model for this type of internet service, surely take a percentage as your fee, or a subscription model?

TicketMaster must absolutely rake it in for basically fuck all bar occasionally having decent servers. I’m surprised they’ve got such a monopoly.

Worse than that. Ticketmaster are a LiveNation company so the same group of companies owns or operates the venues, books the artists and sells the tickets. And of course the artist gets charged for all these services on top of the money they make from the fees charged.

I'm baffled by gig prices.

Last year at The Empire...

Damon Albarn - £18
Paul Weller - £55

Both genre hopping artists with plenty of hits behind them.

Same venue, same overheads presumably.

My apologies to Jermaine Jenas, I think it was actually Jemaine Defoe. Jenas is actually alright-his Channel 4 documentary on the police's biased stop-and-search tactics towards black men was good. Defoe, presuming it was him, needs putting down now rather than continuing this media career as he looked like he was in excruciating agony throughout! Blame the bad ID on the fact that Football Manager is very distracting. Ask my partner...she thinks I love Tyreece John-Jules more than her now. Well, he DID do a move in one game that was EXACTLY like one of The Cat's "dance-spin" moves in Red Dwarf, only this was against Norwich , left a defence in it's wake and led to and FA Cup upset. He even looks a bit like Danny John-Jules.
It was less the "Cat's" spin move and more Dwayne Dibley.

Who doesn't love a 30 year old Red Dwarf reference.

Dog owners who treat their dogs like children and have those weird dog pushchairs.
Dog owners who leave bags of dog shit on the pavement, in the grass etc.

Always give an annoyed laugh. Half a job cunts, did the harder part and now my dog wants to try and pick it up and take it with us.

It’s beyond disgusting if they then put it on someone’s wall around their house or hang it in a tree or something - horrible people.

being your own worst enemy at work...nobody does fuck all so i step up to do shit (run meetings, create processes/approval forums), and then that just enables people to be lazy fucking cunts

fed up of it
My old boss was Head of R&D at a well known local company. He was a lazy sod and technically inept and everyone knew it but did nothing about it. Surprisingly one day the MD appeared and sat at my desk making small talk. I was worried! Next minute my boss appeared saw the MD said good morning then left. My MD had had enough and this was a little trap to catch my boss out. He had asked him a technical question, knew he would not know the answer and guessed he would ask me the answer. He had at long last had enough of carrying this bloke. He created a new position in charge of all Technical depts and offered me the job over my old boss. I took it but only if I could sack my old boss which I did to the delight of all who agreed it was well overdue.
Moral - keep your chin up hopefully at some stage you will get recognised.

It's funny how the last 2 post align with mine, most useless guy I've ever come across has just been given a promotion. It's not a job I went for or even wanted but seeing decent hard working knowledgeable staff overlooked for this lazy moron has annoyed me today.

Most recruitment processes are based on utter nonsense really, performance in an hour interview has disproportionate weight really.

I was told that our big boss got his promotions by focussing on the high profile projects that weren't really his job, and ignoring his actual job.

It shows...
