I hope they don't waste 3-4 questions on Braverman .
It was apparently a low level misdemeanour and more about resigning to put Truss at the precipice.
If I were a conspiracist I'd say it was a set up.
It sounds like that story is going to roll and roll and there’s allegedly more details to come out. No doubt it was a deliberate act to undermine Truss but she may have poked a hornet’s nest thinking she was clever and it’s about to backfire.

A 'but Corbyn' in his first PMQs.

And a shot at Starmer being part of the elite, from the richest person in the room by a mile.

Pathetic stuff really

He said in response to the Tunbridge Wells video that 'there are deprived areas in the South too'. Yes Rishi, but you weren't in Gillingham...

Suella Braverman odds on to be sacked by the weekend. It’s not looking like the behaviour of her sacking was an isolated incident and more a pattern of behaviour not limited to emails.

That PMQs was just like Johnson all over again, but a bit more polished.

Accusing Starmer of living in a bubble is a remarkable line of attack when he’s worth £700m and didn’t know how to pay for petrol in his little publicity stunt back in the spring.

I mean there’s an element of common sense here. I love pinching my missus’s arse in public but if I went to Dubai I wouldn’t cos it would get me arrested. Of course coming from a Tory that’s not how you’re going to take it.

I’d rather any protests were lead by the local groups instead of a bunch of white tourists coming in and using it for insta likes as well TBH. Just had this with Peter Tatchell who pretended to get arrested and was heavily criticised by local groups.

It's telling gay couples to go a bit more back in the closet to appease the homophobes FIFA sold the tournament to. I don't see why gay people should be the ones 'compromising'.

The homophobes were appeased as soon as people accepted the WC being there. Your choices really are to boycott or obey the local laws no matter how shitty they are, otherwise you’ll get arrested and not in the nice way British Police do.

Or alternatively see how they get on in the front of the world arresting thousands of people for being openly gay.

That would be fine if he had said be careful because it is dangerous, and then went on to criticise the regime. But it doesn't seem that he did that.

Also he says show respect to the regime, rather than be careful because it is dangerous. We shouldn't be showing respect to ruthless discriminatory regimes who don't care about human rights.

Fair comments all. Especially if he said to respect the regime. That’s a bit off. Also had a look and it seems the anti LGBT laws have been watered down a bit in theory to enable LGBT fans to attend, so not sure what he’s on about at all.

Apologies if this has been raised before...

...In support of Suella...

...Is Rwanda really that bad?

It's not like Amnesty International have raised concerns that they're human rights abusers like the KSA or Qatar is it?

She was never quite able to explain

If it's not a terrible place to go, how is it a deterrent?

If it is a terrible place to go, doesn't that make us look like cunts?

When it comes to freedom of speech, freedom of press and freedom of opposition they’re a pound shop Russia. Lots of mysterious deaths and intimidation of opposition politicians and critical reporters, especially reporters of human rights abuses. Some of those deaths have happened on foreign soil too.

Also worth noting that Rwandan citizens seek and successfully claim asylum in the thousands in many countries still every year, including the UK. Imagine leaving Rwanda only to get to the UK, claim asylum and then be sent to the country you’ve just left.

I see that Piri Patel is supposed to support Arsenal.

More on these ridiculous severance payments that mps are getting when they lose their cabinet posts even Truss got more in severance than she would have earned over the same period. The country should be sending her and her former special friend Kwasi a bill for all the money it has cost us not the other way.

I'm sure the TPA will be on to it
