Why? It pretty much sums them up. Hopefully they don't playing stupid if/when Ashley does bid for the club, take what's on offer and go.
They won't win a fight with him.

he thinks Seppala needs £60 million

Fucking over sisu is fucking over the club tho
It’s like when we had some fans willing us to get relegated to League 1 to get rid of SISU, then it was League 2…all it did was threaten the clubs existence.
The game away vs Notts C will probably be one of the most important in our lifetime, especially considering the starkly different directions the 2 clubs have gone in.

What’s he said that’s incorrect? They had the chance they’ve waited for for 8 years.

they’ve blown it and once again someone has swooped in again!
Unfortunately Seppala, Fisher and Boddy are habitual liars. They have an agenda which is opposed to what supporters want.
Opposed agenda?

SISU want the club to not get relegated for a start.

If that’s opposed to what supporters want then I’d be surprised.

They want to fluke promotion - if that’s opposed to what supporters want then I’m surprised too.

That they have made mistakes - agreed.

“opposed agenda”

- clueless.

Sisu are totally different to all other owners in the league

The whole purpose is to offer investor returns and investment protection

A relegation and it’s simply a cold calculated adjustment to react accordingly - sell players when needed - and reward accordingly

In fact the most successful period this worked was league 1. This league has proven well beyond their level

What do fans want?

Open communication
security of tenure
Investment
Community association
No politics before the club

They fail at everything

Link?

What was the context? That the model needed change or, as implied, that we should seek to be relegated like Ol’ Clueless suggests.
There isn’t a link - it was said in a fans forum. Someone mentioned investment and he was going through how we operate. Said we don’t have the finances to just spend and the model we currently run won’t work in the championship.

So the context was that the model in place at that time wouldn’t work in the Champ; which is a far cry from suggesting that we shouldn’t be there and wants relegation.

There must be a link, I thought all fans forums were recorded by someone.

What are you saying? That the huge loss of income and investment value isn’t important to them.

You really are clueless. Please keep posting, it’s making me laugh.

We didn’t lose as much in L1. They’d much prefer us there. They’ve said as much “the model doesn’t work in the Championship”

Nobody said they wanted relegation, it’s just the clubs Optimal running level. One which doesn’t really give SISU the added headache and costs.

it was one at the holiday inn. If you want to go searching for the link then go for it, but I was there. So either take the witness statement or don’t

The point is the league is irrelevant to them

Well funny how many people are talking about Ashley owning us and money invested etc

We're in for a world of pain the next few seasons. Seppala v Ashley will go on longer than the Vietnam war. 2 people who are used to getting thier own way, no matter who or what collateral gets harmed. On this occasion, us and our football club.

Ashley will not just pick us up. Hes clever hes got the stadium and again puts sisu in a corner

What does Joy do when the backs against the wall? Litigation, threats, move us, pull funding, make enemies.

This is the worst possible outcome. Of course he wants the club but he wouldn't think twice about distressing us to get it cheaper.

Amazed how many of you are still in cloud cuckoo land with this and talking as if hes already our owner
You haven't answered previous questions.

Litigation? On what grounds?

Move us? What excuse do SISU give if the contract for the arena is kept to?

Stop funding? So they get us relegated and worth much less than we are now?

One main question I asked you previously was how can you be so sure that there already hasn't been talks. Why have SISU been quiet for once when the arena is the main topic?

The thing is... I've been reading the posts on here, and it ain't Grendel who's clueless on this particular issue.

He's right that the club has no intrinsic value, and the cost to buy is how much of the debt somebody is prepared to take on/ settle.

He's right that the league level is of secondary priority to the owners of the football club than breaking even at worst, making a profit at best.

He's right that their track record for honesty has been distinctly dubious.

I’ve no reason to believe he didn’t say that in the context of the L1 model not working in the Champ.

I think he’s a bit lacking in communication skills but I’m sure that he doesn’t crave relegation as suggested.

Fucking hell nobody said they want relegation. the championship is a step too far for them. The Costs involved give them headaches.

they don’t give a shit what league we’re in as long as the costs are down

they operate a model which is easier in league one/two - The championship requires a lot more investment - that they’re not willing to provide.
