Standing army is less than 25000. Miliary service stopped years back so training up reserves would be difficult.
There's no major build up atm (don't want to be provocative) and don't really have much kit to build up. They'd be completely reliant on NATO (and kieranp96!!
).
Announced big expansion and investment for the future even though they can't afford it.
Small NATO force here atm as Govt not particularly co-operative.
There aren't large numbers of NATO troops anyway apart from Germany. Likes of the Baltic states have a few thousand per country (was much less pre-Ukraine). Much like Ukraine in that NATO would have to give territory up in these Eastern European states before organising its response.
