A big difference here is England are bringing on three subs who all start and be stars for Wales.

Was thinking earlier - not a single Welsh player gets in the England team.
Was going to argue just to be contrary, but can't think of one that's worth arguing about! Guess James might have had a token cap or two in a friendly when he had that good spell for Man Utd a couple of seasons back, but that's as close as I can get in recent times!

Ramsey at his peak obviously, but that's gone now.

Interesting (in its own way!) that Wilson's now first reserve to Kane. That's quite the comeback from some horrible injuries.

I honestly think that was utterly delusional for Ian Rush and Ashley Williams to say Wales played well in that first half. They were awful.

Even Qatar would give Wales a decent game 😂

Pickford's looking a bit dodgy....
How? Having to save a deflection? Bit harsh.

Southgate does make some strange decisions, whether he's trying to prove a point.

Doesn't even bring Foden on against USA then it looks like he's going to get 90 mins tonight.

Trent doesn't come on when we need a creative player then brings him on when we're 2 up and looking to keep it tight.

Somewhere in the middle please Gareth.

Didn't realise it was deflected at first. Take it back then.

So if you're Robert Page, do you bask in the glory of qualifying, recognise that the decent players are past their best, and quit ASAP before anybody else notices... or do you recognise you'll be lucky to get a management job bigger than Mansfield if you leave, so suck it up and accept you won't qualify for the next tournament, but because of the size of Wales it's basically a free pass next time around?
