Forgetting Messi for a minute, what a noise the Argentinian crowd made. Fair play - brilliant atmosphere.

That pitch is absolutely fucked. I thought they’d start recovering now but they’re getting worse.

Not only can you see how patchy it is the ball is bobbling all over the place.
Joy has already put in a bid to have one of the stadiums shipped to the UoW

Argies were average but they've got Messi. He will win you games.
On a par with Maradonna in the annals of great Argies. No one else comes anywhere near.

Messi V Maradona, always the cheating scumbag Maradona.

Messi has not been the same player since he left Barcelona, his figures in France are good but not world Class.

Maradona's figures are just amazing everywhere he went, and as people say, Argentina without him would not have won the World Cup.

It just does not compare, cheating fucker that broke my heart but he was the best. Imagine him now on better pitches and protection from refs. How could you mark the fucker, to fast and skillful and built like a brick shit house (in terms of you could kick him as much as you wanted (a bit like O'Hare (kicking him not the skill level) but you never stopped him), but you never even get close to back then, never mind now.

Or am i just an old fucker lmao

Maradonna from the age of 32, scored 13 goals. 6 were for Sevilla and the other 7 in the Argentina league (in over 60 matches)
Messi from the age of 32 has scored 92 goals (excluding any for his country) in 107 games. If that's only 'good', I'm not sure what world class is.

For the record: Maradonna was brilliant. I just think Messi is too. To say that Messi can't compare is more than a little harsh imo.
