It's not a huge leap to suggest if Reeves goes, then his ally (and council leader) will find his position weakened, especially as we know the sharks have been nibbling for a while.

So you make that claim with certainty, and look ITK if it happens. If it doesn't, then it's not hard to come up with a plausible reason why it hasn't.

The man sees some way to extract money from this football club, and doesn’t give a shit which league they’re playing in as long as he’s still getting paid (see also: United, Newcastle)
