Not sure why they would surrender when they occupy Kyiv 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well that’s a deflection - when will they surrender - you are the expert

I haven't ever claimed to know when they will surrender, how could anyone know.

You did of course predict Kyiv would fall within days so I bow to your superior expertise.

To add in again, we have already tried Ukraine conceding territory to Putin to make him stop attacking. He invaded again 8 years later. So how is it the solution for them to agree to hand over even more?
It's not, he doesn't think this.

If everyone was pro Putin he'd be the opposite. It's his thing

Also Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin is publicly slating Shoigu and other top military figures, blaming them for lack of supplies alongside a picture he posted of what must be 50 dead Wagner soldiers.

My god you’re clueless. Do you seriously need a lecture on our involvement in Cyprus? I said it tongue in cheek because I thought you were just trolling but it sounds like you do need a lesson.
He's thick as mince mate, if you mentioned the cod wars with Iceland he'd wonder where a shop could get a navy from.

The intervention way of intervening. Did you actually define the definition of "intervened"?
I mean it was literally every way. We brokered the agreement between Greece and Turkey ahead of Cyprus’ independence from the UK, we trained and armed the Cyprus National Guard ahead of Turkey’s invasion, we still arm and train them to this day and this is going to come as a shock to grendull but we still have military bases in Cyprus.

Yeah let's sit down and agree peace with Putin, he's a real honourable chap who absolutely won't go back on his word at some point in the future

Could Moldova be annexed on 24/02/23. Did someone mention that they already have Russian troops there. I know that there are 100k Russian citizens there already

If Putin goes into another country with the express intent of invading then the west will escalate.

Putin will not use nuclear weapons as even in the mentally deficient state he finds himself he still understands MAD and more importantly so the people close to him.

In a non nuclear war the west beats Russia in weeks

As one Greek Cypriot put it to me

‘British colonialism bad, Turkish colonialism worse’

What if they never will surrender? What then just kill everyone?

“We brokered an agreement”

Tony agrees with me then

I get he’s just being contrarian but FP does actually believe it.

Ive believed it from day 1 - sorry that’s it. The ignorant nonsense spouted on here is for the birds - what does FP actually believe in? Is it bad?

So why don’t we just roll into Moscow David?

You don’t even agree with you do what makes you think I do god only knows.

You actually admit a settlement was agreed Tony. This is a war where no settlement is the solution isn’t it?

Rumours circulating that Ukraine forces are preparing to liberate Transnistria. I don't believe it, but would be quite ballsy if they did.

Sounds exciting - whose your source on the ground?

They only have about 1,500 troops there, not many at all.
Yes, but what stops them from piling a few more in. Smaller country. Easy 24/2/23 win? Strategic diversion could of course lead to escalation.

I hope Russia gets stuffed wherever they end up.

Zelensky bad

Ukraine should give up now and hand over some territory

It’s a weird line of argument to criticise the country getting invaded more than the one invading-but you know that.

Not well versed in this but surely the fact we have troops still there - something Russia sees as a ‘Red Line’ - means the situations are not comparable?
