Match tickets when we moved to the Ricoh were £21 ( for all areas of the ground)
Season tickets were £310 for adults .

Of course the club badly fucked up by not doing everything possible to get people up there in the first season. Something we have only just recovered from. Wasn’t the initial break even number at the Ricoh 21.000 per game? It’s only taken us 17 years to reach that.

Id usually advocate a slight rise of say £25 per ST but considering we were fed utter shit last season ( yes i know different owners) about 'Back us with ST's and we can invest on the pitch it doesn't fill me with confidence.

We literally backed the club in record numbers of ST's and merchandise to be met with 'Ah we haven't got enough money to pay our tax bill'

I'm 50/50 either way tbh, the initial signs are positive but considering we don't have a deal to play at the CBS past May and Hamer Sheaf O'Hare and Vik are all left with 1 year on their contracts, I'm a bit meh about renewing personally

I'm in the same boat although 1 under 18 and 2 under 13....with one hardly going due to be so young. Could mean a £200 hike. Don't mind it for me...but make it cheap for the kids....its not like their seat is being taken up by someone who would pay £400+.
Same for me. We are in block19. With mine and the kids combined, I am expecting to pay around £300 more.

Think it was 23000 don’t know if that included away or not. That was the safety figures implemented at the time don’t know if that was council, police or fire.

Take it you’re not in blocks 19-21

I haven't got a season ticket. Can commit to it so pointless.

However, the prices need to increase now (as everything in life does) to help us sustain ourselves. And the Zone system, as I've set out, would keep a ST affordable in some areas but also put a premium of the best seats. As per most stadiums in the country. We've been lucky to have very reasonable ST prices with the best views. But now is the time for the club to "cash in" on it a little bit more than they do.

£450? NO. Personally, I want to see the club brave it a little and go for an offer which almost guarantees a min of 20k (walk in and ST holders). Not sure if it was Forest a few years back did this and got nearly full attendances.
In order to get the crowd behind the team and create a good atmosphere, the more the merrier and I fear that if it comes in too expensive, people might stay away if we are going through a rough patch.
The argument would be if you want your team to compete at the top you can’t expect to pay the lowest amounts. Seems reasonable but I do think concessions for kids pensioners etc are essential and with the cost of living mmj’s work becomes more and more important

Personally think the club should go back to Zones.

Keep the current prices for corners, slight increase for behind the goal and main increase for blocks 19-21.

No one wants to site behind the goal though and everyone wants to sit in one corner.

Tbf if i was doing it

No price increase to JSB packages and keep the U13s go free with a paying adult ST, great value

Bin off the Category games and have a flat rate of:

£25 Adult
£22 Over 60s
£20 Young adult 18-21
£18 Student/ Armed Forces
£15 U18s
£0 U13s

ST wise, echo the thoughts of a premium per zone

£475 Adults in the posh stand (blocks 1-2-3 etc, facilities are a lot better than peasant class
£450 Adults in Blocks 18- 21 best view in the place
£425 Adults everywhere else

Open round to block 13 and make 16-13 ST only

Kids ST's for U18 shouldn't be a price increase as they are our next generation

I agree,so what % increase do you think for 19-21 ?
10%-20%-40%-50%

Doing some calculations, and if the club did want to gamble slightly in order to attract more, there isn’t much difference if for example you had a gate of approx 20,000 @ £25 ave a head or 22,500 @ £22 ave a head. So does extra footfall create more income? Suppose it depends on what F&B deal DK will try to get? club shop would see an increase also. Local bars /clubs would also be happier with the larger crowds.
By paying more doesn’t necessarily guarantee a promotion winning side and also doesn’t mean that DK goes into the market for top players, as we still need to follow FFP rules.
More the merrier and a full CBS is far better than a sea of sky blue empty seats.

More people on here living abroad than ones that live in Cov i reckon. The real fans who went to Northampton, Birmingham ans Burton should be rewarded with the cheapest ST price.

The further away they are the more clueless they are as well, it’s an exact scale

Be so funny if that’s exactly what’s done. Forums have eyes and ears I’m sure

Just to throw a spanner in this. We sit Block 20 but the wife has a visual impairment. Should she pay full price?

Or instead sign up to be a referee?

They should start charging to use the toilets.
I never piss or shit at the ground, yet I see people around me constantly meandering off to the bogs. I'd be happy paying £350 with no toilet access.

Stewards struggle to check tickets and when the ground is nowhere near full policing its difficult I think

Spot on. If you’re going to justify a 75% increase in ST prices, then you’re going to need to justify it a bit better than just saying “Well you were getting a good deal before”

Prices aren't going up by that unless you get promoted. The VFM now is significantly better than a few years ago and pricing was down mainly to moving away and resetting

The club needs to get in the mindset of the fact its a product people desire to go to and therefore price accordingly

If you want the team to compete at the top then you need an owner willing to stump up cash. We are never going to move the needle on transfers etc through ST revenue alone.

Its hardly the point though is it - its about relative pricing to competition
