Surely people knew months ago he wasn't going to plough millions in with no hope of getting it back?

I think what people have kind of always been pushing for is somewhere between putting in nothing and pumping in millions. Like reinforcing a skeleton squad in the middle of a playoff push.

The thing is we have had a great season but due a great churn on players. The 5 loans have been superb and will we get any of them back?

Summer recruitment (and I don't mean £££) will be crucial to keep momentum going. We will also need to give new players time to bed in.

Not sure you can make that argument if we don’t lose Monday

Because you may as well have one of us in charge if the owner doesn’t wish to spend their own money. Most other owners seem to provide something over and above the club’s turnover unless I’m mistaken.

He has spoken about everyone having to make sacrifices. What are his?
He’s investing millions in Ryton and will cover losses

I don’t expect him to pump in silly money. But if the plan is to put in nothing above what the club makes, you may as well have it fan run. Most owners do put in something extra each season at our level and above.
No thanks, we’d end up with Thorn back as manager with Biamou leading the line.

what are the chances of keeping Vik if we don't go up with a new deal signed as others has mentioned, not to flog him on at a profit but to generally keep him. i guess zero chance right.

I dreamt we got promoted and Doug fucked off with that 90 million prem money, plus the cash from selling Vic, Gus, Sheaf and O’Hare and went to see out his days in the Cayman isles with Ray Ranson who he married on the beach in a civil partnership ceremony.
Scary. Didn’t the Oyston’s get accused of something vaguely similar when Blackpool went up?

Even if we do go up, will Vik want to stick around? Could go to 10 prem clubs and be on 100k+ a week, something we can't offer.

I hope we’ve got huge promotion incentives in place particularly for Vik.

Need him being electric and not having one eye on a big payday elsewhere.
