Was inevitable he was going to do something really stupid.

I would also be interested to know did he have previous? Do we know how good the ticket office is in enforcing bans?

Just to be clear, the segregation block between our own fans is unnecessary IMO.
However the only logic I can see is a presumption that other CCFC fans will just move to the proper segregation lines and cause issues.
Some logic in that, but as I’ve said - to me it’s unnecessary, and I’m speculating.

Also, the issues vs Brum will have had an impact on policing levels (as everyone has already said). Images of trouble-makers from then will be passed to police who will be hoping to provide nice bracelets and temporary accommodation to offenders.

Good thing too. I don’t want these idiots ruining match day experience for many others and pushing our policing costs higher.

I’ll let the thread turn back into intelligent comments such as, “Your mum”. “No. Your Mum”!!

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the City fan who roundhouse kicked a Derby fan over a row of seats a few minutes before that video was taken may have had something to do with the charged atmosphere.

stewarding isn't great, it's the same with the kids ticket issue where there is a system built into the ground to deal with this but they don't really use it

I don't see how they can move over though. There will be people already in those seats, and there is a fence.

If they can climb a fence, and barge through 1500 people, I don't see a picture of Jimmy Hill being much of an obstacle

Where did the hundreds of available tickets come from?

My post was tongue in cheek, but I would love an explanation for the reappearance of hundreds of tickets this afternoon.

Could be one of two things:

They've oversold the tickets by accident, with previously taken tickets coming back on sale as there was a glitch and they've lost track. That also solves the Block 13 mystery, which has been left empty as a pre-emptive. When more people turn up on the day, they'll put them there.

OR

There's no explanation, and the people running the show are just clueless buffoons.

How would having people in block 13 have any effect on that? There's another 2 blocks of home fans plus and empty between that block and the away fans.

Also the police were awful vs Brum, blocking normal fans getting away from the roundabout while not stopping blues fans from walking down to the roundabout.

Trouble at HR in the early 00’s was far worse than anything at the CBS. Running battles pretty much every week on Gosford street. Man Utd, Spurs, West Ham etc. Leicester in Earlsdon & Pompy in the ground. Leeds on the pitch last game of the season. Absolute carnage most weeks.

It would’ve been impossible for most of them to see it due to the angle of it. It’s really hard to see anything going on in the same stand as you.

A few will have seen it, got arsey about it, then herd mentality kicks in.

let’s be honest. Trouble occurs at every ground at least twice a season. recently seen trouble at Swansea.nothing changed there. Reading trouble no change there. all these grounds have very little segregation. Boro last season some trouble no change. why are we so different?
