Great atmosphere.

We didn't play great. Very conservative . May be robins plan. Similar to notts county.

Doyle and McNally distribution was poor I felt but no one played badly just no one played great. Kelly and hamer prob are two best players.

I predicted 0-0. Just hope I'm wrong about the second leg as I see us losing 3-1

I want hamer back breaking up play further up the pitch with the attacking threat that brings maybe sheaf and Kelly sitting back Allen and Hamer on free roaming and one up top?

Vik was subdued but still did far more than Godden, in terms on touches, picking the ball up in the channel, cutting inside etc. Virtually everything was played into Vik, but he was marshalled really well. Really like Godden, but that was not a game for him today.
Not disagreeing about Godden, but Vik did nothing. And, I’m not saying that’s his fault. Balls up to him were awful, what the hell was he meant to do with most of them.
Look, it sounds like I’m being negative. I’m not. I think we’ve gone for the draw tonight and hoping to crack them on Wednesday. But we can’t be singling out players when literally everyone had a substandard game (in my opinion). And I’ll give them that game, if they produce on Wednesday.

Other than the goal on Monday, the 2 Wilson's saves in the first half today and the free header Akpom put wide in the second half, they have created nothing.

Already mentioned the goal ...1 great save today ok fair enough , can't recall another great save ? So in 180 they've created 3 chances ?

Surely like me you expected more from boro ? They've scored almost 85 goals this season In the league and had 5 shots on target in 2 matches against us 1 being a goal .

They do understand that Steve Gibson gives them millions to spend every season whereas Robins has to work on sod all?

Really not sure what people are expecting? Up against a team full of talent, favourites to go up, and who play some of the best attacking football in the division and people wanted what? Us to throw men forwards?

No, they don’t understand that! Also heard they’re in a bit of trouble if they don’t go up this season. Gibson caught with his pants down and wife’s taken half of everything.

Sitting back inviting pressure for the 90 is risky in a different way I’d argue.

I know , expected more from boro over the last 2 matches , I was assured by their fans that monday wasn't what they play like and today is almost an identical game to Monday apart from we were a bit worse on the ball

Pretty much. Is a pity that it’s them we’ve got over 2 legs really

A draw is not end of the world. Think back to Notts County play off, we drew at Ricoh and nobody gave us a chance in 2nd leg away. Look what happened. In Mark Robins we trust PUSB

Not bothered about Wednesday it’s now an old fashioned cup-tie, different game altogether than todays or Mondays. Silence the ‘Boro’ crowd nice and early.

Think it was always the plan to take it to the Riverside at 0-0. Let the natives get restless and do them on the counter and shut up shop.

All in all I thought we were pretty uninspiring today, could feel the nervous energy from the players and it showed in our attacks. Positive? We didn’t lose.

Really this is a free hit for us, pressure is now on Boro, they’re expected to win, their fans already think it’s wrapped up so let’s hope their players think the same.

3 games played. They haven’t beat us. Let’s hope we start how we did last Monday. Going to be a tough watch but let’s hope we can do the business! We need Hamer and Gykores to really show they are the real deal.
