Still think 15k max.
More than that, mentioned it in another post in my little close of 24 houses alone there are 11 brand new ST holders four who live in the close the others connected to neighbours who live there. From my own family who live 60 miles away in Lincolnshire there are four who have bought for the first time, always been fans but picked and chose games through the season.

I'm hoping that some tickets may open up in family zone on 3rd July where people are moving from blocks that were previously standard.

I think we'll hit around 16k, but would be very surprised if it exceeded that. Said on an earlier post that sometimes these things take eon a life of their own. Be great if we sell a high number, both for maintaining the buzz and atmosphere, as well as giving the club the obvious financial boost. If we can get the average home attendance north of 22k, it will be fantastic.

Great reading stories like this. The atmosphere before the Birmingham and Middlesbough games was excellent and it would be nice to have that as often as possible next season. As the weather will get worse later in the year it might be worth the club thinking about creating a fan zone in the exhibition centre for the big matches.

Can't do that, as it will be piled high with boxes of Big Fat Mike's trainers.

Didn’t they have a fanzone in the hall before one of the games this year?

As for numbers, it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise after the good season we’ve had.

1985-86 11.5k average
1987-88 17.5k average

A winning team can increase numbers very quickly

Is the chances of me being able to move from 23 to 14 low on the 3rd of July

I'd say they were decent if you're on the button when they go up. Historically, 20-25% of season ticket holders don't renew. Might be a bit less this season, but when you factor in all those that have moved to family zone, there should be several thousand in the east stand available on the 3rd.

More, I think it could approach or even exceed 20k, according to the club out of 10000 sold earlier this week 40% were new season ticket holders that’s unbelievable when you think about it.

That is high, I think 20% were first time season ticket holders last season, so really encouraging. Getting over 20K is unrealistic I'd say, but would be absolutely delighted if we did. I think we're heading for 16-17K which would be great. I doubted we'd get that high so glad to be proved wrong. Would pretty much guarantee no sub 20K gates all season.

I can't attend these days because of my health but it looks an absolute hoot up there now. No wonder people are getting hooked.

Agree, a realistic aim on these numbers is to have the lowest gate of the season to be around 20k

I thought the premiership package was back on sale till Monday 9 am
I’ve just checked can buy the premiership package but only in the block’s showing

That was nearly a month ago so a bit odd.

EDIT: Seen this update. On sale again until Mon. So seems like they can and will extend an offer if they think it'll boost the coffers.

No they are changing them to different colours to denote Children, Adults, Concession Etc thet are spending so much time in trying to stop the few that were working the system by buying JSB tickets and adults using them that they are in danger of effecting season tickets sales full stop!
They're not though, are they? No ones going to not get a season ticket because they've gone on sale slightly later than they should 😂

Will they ? If as it seems to look like ST sales are through the roof why would they extend.
Do we have a latest update? I saw 10k a couple of days ago.

How much of the FZ are they leaving available for single match tickets? The FZ has just over 3k seats, so if it were sold out sales consist of 5k PL then since 'normal' ST went on sale they'd have sold c.3k in the FZ if it is truly sold out leaving c.2k everywhere else in the stadium. That can't be right, so I reckon they've limited the number of ST allowed in the FZ.

Well, if they were riding the PO glory train and were willing to get a ST then, but now that it's over they won't, the tickets going on sale slightly later than they should may well mean someone now isn't getting one.

You wouldn’t buy a PL season ticket in the FZ though would you?

It costs the same no matter where you sit, so might as well get a decent seat on the halfway line rather than shoved up into the corner

That's what I was saying.

If you take out PL that occurred before normal ST tickets went on sale, and that those seats will almost certainly be in the preium seating area around the halfway line, then since the tickets went on sale it would seem the bulk of them have been purchased in the FZ.

Has that early momentum continued and sales are continuing even now the cheaper FZ tickets are unavailable?

I dont know that stats but I would imagine this would be a significantly low amount of people.
Either way, the club has already explained that the delay was due to a change of system - nothing they could do 🤷‍♂️

I think you'll be okay if you don't mind where your seat is.

I've always gone for an aisle seat as being in Block 15, I need to nip down to the bogs every 15 minutes to powder my nose.

Think plenty of people down that end go to the toilet to “powder their nose”…

I know of 4 new season ticket holders 3 never even supported the City, fathom that one out.

A good thing and does happen.

Many, many years ago I took a girlfriend’s Dad to the Ricoh a few times. May have been the first season there.

Split up with her not long after but have seen him there loads of times since, including at St Andrews. He had been a Derby fan previously! Season ticket for best part of a decade apparently.

Should have kept her then! Could have taken his grandkids up, 3 generations of city fans....
Then again, maybe not!
