Yes we do. Season starts about a month away so the club needs to know if he's going to be a Cov player, id say three weeks before the first game. If no one comes in with the £20m valuation in the next week, then he's staying here for next season, and can be a free agent at the end, and go where he wants. We stand a much better chance of going up automatically with him being here than not.
I’d be interested to know how the size of our first team squad compares to other teams. If we don’t sign a few players this week we’re getting a few weeks off the first game of the season without giving the players the time to gel and again starting at a disadvantage.Good lord, I really hope we sign someone soon... The panicing and negativity is off the charts at the moment. The flip flopping moods has been wild. A month ago people were saying we should hold out for 30m+ for Vik because players like Watkins made that in the past. Now there is a vocal bunch saying we need to sell him for 15m as times running out

If he stays, where’s the money for the squad rebuild coming from? we need a minimum of 8 new players.

We can field an 11 but wouldn’t it be good to have a starting XI ready to go against Leicester? The loans comment is rubbish - the top loans go pretty early, what you’re left with in late august is the ones the prem sides don’t have a place for (not to say they’re not better than we’ve got)

We discussed this yesterday or the day before he wouldn't take a prem move to sit on the bench but would take a prem move to play.
That doesn't rule out a premiership move or mean Vik doesn't want one it just cuts down the teams he will go to!
