Is it right that their first home game has been postponed. Ground unfit due to work. Frustrating for fans.
But the same was said of our situation. It is what it is.well, well, well. Cheats failed to spend on the ground and got the advatage on the pitch.
Well....Wasps agreed that we had primacy over the use of the ground when in fact we were locked out. We paid full rent and Luton put the money instead into the team over seasons. But the same was said of our situation. It is what it is.

think your right although we didn’t postpone our games, couldn’t they play it somewhere elseShould probably keep our heads down on this one.

I don't see the equivalence. For Luton it's the sisu new pitch you should be comparing to. A bit like Santa , God and the Tooth FairyWe hadn’t got our ground ready when we moved into the Ricoh

I know but it was well on the way. Where is the new Luton ground that's compliant with the regs that they've been 'building' for years?Eh the Ricoh stadium wasn’t ready when we first played there and we couldn’t play the first game at home

They were told by the PL they could play their first 3 games away; same as us.I don't see the equivalence. For Luton it's the sisu new pitch you should be comparing to. A bit like Santa , God and the Tooth Fairy
If they'd built a compliant stadium they would still be in L1 at best. They failed to get their ground in order and cheated the rest of us in the processIts 1 match
Yes but they still don't meet the regsThey were told by the PL they could play their first 3 games away; same as us.
I agree, I’ve said it before, in the past teams have not been promoted as stadiums not up to scratch. They’ve made a conscious decision not to spend money on the stadium and spend it on players, knowing their ground is not fit for the PL. our situation was different in that we paid the money to rent the stadium and the landlords didn’t have it up to scratch, we didn’t gain a competitive advantage, where as Luton surely have. A bit like Red Bull over spending the budget cap on F1, a conscious decision to cheat. If they'd built a compliant stadium they would still be in L1 at best. They have to ground share to meet the rules. Is it 20k capacity? You're starting to reach Sunderland levels of bitterness here tbf
They’ve not cheated anyone you bitter moronIf they'd built a compliant stadium they would still be in L1 at best. They failed to get their ground in order and cheated the rest of us in the process
What's the capacity got to do with anything? They have to ground share to meet the rules. Is it 20k capacity?
Here we go again - incapable of civil interaction at any levelThey’ve not cheated anyone you bitter moron
And the first game there was at reduced capacity as well. Though I think the club actually got some money off the council for that in the form of a rent reduction.Eh the Ricoh stadium wasn’t ready when we first played there and we couldn’t play the first game at home
The most they’ve spent on a player to get promoted is £1.8m - some cheatersI agree, I’ve said it before, in the past teams have not been promoted as stadiums not up to scratch. But you Talk absolute bollocks. It’s bafflingHere we go again - incapable of civil interaction at any level
Until this season it’s more than we’d spent on a playerThe most they’ve spent on a player to get promoted is £1.8m - some cheaters
Until this season it’s more than we’d spent on a player
I should’ve added since we’ve been relegatedWhat?
I know but doesn’t sound like some masterplan!Until this season it’s more than we’d spent on a player
It's was a question.What 20k capacity?
But if they’d spent the money on the stadium they should’ve done, they wouldn’t have had the team they had. I’m not saying they shouldn’t have gone up. There are teams that have bent or broken the rules (e.g Derby) far more than they have. But in my view it could still be considered a form of cheating.I know but doesn’t sound like some masterplan!
Fair enough if they were throwing tens of millions of pounds around but clearly they’re a club who operate within their means
