Hell if we can swoop in for both Cashin and Bird that's fine by me
Would be a useful aquasition, young left footed centre back. He ticks all the boxes. So Robins was at the derby game today. Who do we reckon he was watching? Cashin?
According to Derby fans on Twitter he had a stinkerCashin is a very good player. Would love him here.
Wouldn't worry too much about that if it was him being watched.According to Derby fans on Twitter he had a stinker
he's nearly 33, what box does he tick
Not pouring water on it but doesn’t he live that way ? But yes Cashin & Bird are decent playersSo Robins was at the derby game today. Who do we reckon he was watching? Cashin?
I said that earlier plus he is good mates with warmeNot pouring water on it but doesn’t he live that way ? But yes Cashin & Bird are decent players
I’d be disappointed if he simply went to watch a mates team at this point in the season. Very unlike Robins I would suggest.I said that earlier plus he is good mates with warme
We need more strength in other parts of the pitch. We should be offering Willock or Chair a way out of Qpr as that place is a car crash at the moment
I wouldn't say no to another AM tbf. Depends how much we actually have left in the kitty, they keep surprising us so no one knows in reality. We need more strength in other parts of the pitch.
Why? He has a whole recruitment team to do his scouting for him. Maybe he just wanted to meet up with a mate and catch a local game.I’d be disappointed if he simply went to watch a mates team at this point in the season. Very unlike Robins I would suggest.
Nor would I but an LCB and third forward are bigger priorities.I wouldn't say no to another AM tbf. Depends how much we actually have left in the kitty, they keep surprising us so no one knows in reality.

If I were King and he didn’t watch an upcoming opponent or a transfer target in favour of meeting up with a mate I’d kick his arse. Robins has been backed for the first time in his tenure with us, I’m sure he’s not returned that commitment by not using a rare Saturday off in the window productively. Why? So he cant take the day off to catch a game? Do you seriously think he has been to watch all of our summer signings in person before signing them? Some teams dont even give their manager a say in transfers let alone demand they go and watch them like you want.If I were King and he didn’t watch an upcoming opponent or a transfer target in favour of meeting up with a mate I’d kick his arse. A day off ? On the opening weekend of the season. Are you being serious ?So he cant take the day off to catch a game? By day off i meant free time in his local area to watch a game. Of course they trained yesterday but he is allowed to do other things. Maybe he was using the opportunity to look at players but you seem to think King should demand he go to games and personally watch players. You would have had us bankrupt on travel fares alone this summer with that logic.A day off ? On the opening weekend of the season. Are you being serious ?
I suspect Robins had the players in yesterday morning going through the approach to todays match and then chose a match with some relevance to go to in the afternoon .
I doubt very much he did “the big shop” and then met a mate
We clearly have different expectations and experience levels which is fine.By day off i meant free time in his local area to watch a game. Be curious to know which of the signings Robins has seen live before. We clearly have different expectations and experience levels which is fine.
If you are suggesting that we have broken our transfer record and Robins hasn’t flown to watch Wright then you may be right but I would be hugely disappointed in Robins. He has a responsibility to ensure that the clubs money is invested as wisely as possible.
whether he has or hasn’t watched any / many of our targets the issue would not have been his travel expenses.
I expect that he has watched Simms, Wright and Milan and possibly Thomas.
He himself said he had spent a summer on zoom. Don't know how you would cope supporting a team where the manager has zero input in to transfers. From what we hear it's Austin and the recruitment team who provide names to Robins after watching them extensively. If you think robins flys around watching them all I think you are deluded. We clearly have different expectations and experience levels which is fine.

Going for that ITK status as everyone has had a go this summer. Are they going to trust him at RWB against Leicester? I think he’ll start Eccles there as a precaution to keep us tight then see how it goes.
That would be the scouts job surely? We clearly have different expectations and experience levels which is fine.

A Scouts job is to provide a shortlist of players matching the attributes the manager / club have identified as being important to the proposed style of play. That would be the scouts job surely?
CF/AM player on loan because no way can our only back up striker be Godden
An LCB
Another CM, someone in the same mold as Hamer
Get those in and we're good to go.
Binks, Bidwell and Howley can all play CBNot even 100% we need the LCB TBH with Bidwell
