same team for me - all i can see happening is Wright getting on slightly earlier if Simms hasnt got a goal, no point dropping him yet in my eyes

We have to remember he's playing on his weaker side. Playing out of position to accommodate other players.

I thought that once Binks was up to speed he would get more game time in that left side slot. With Latibeudiere filling in along the back and in CDM. I guess a lot would depend if another CB comes in permanently as well I guess.

I would keep it as it is, not sure it'll do Simms confidence much good to drop him already. I also think he needs the match practice as looks rustiest of the three.

Did Robins allude to Wright being short on match fitness hence the start at Wimbledon and bench v Boro?

I agree we should keep it unchanged, Wright as an impact sub for 30 minutes will help ease him into match fitness and form.

Robins is usually very loyal to a starting 11 that had won the previous game.

For both of those Boro chances we had 3 or 4 men round the ball trying to tackle 2 or 3 Boro players and it just seemed to ping to them, just put your foot through it into row Z

I thought he had a decent game for the most part but did nearly gift them two goals toward the end of the game.
One was actually down to McFadz getting in the way and cocking up a simple backpass to Wilson . McFadz apologized immediately afterwards.

I don't see Thomas as the central player in the 3 personally. Those mental forward runs he goes on would be curtailed and it's a good bit of a threat to use him to overload. Similar to what Sheffield Utd did that year under Wilder.

I think it could end up being Joel or Kitching if/when he comes in. Binks or Kitching on the left. Thomas on right, Joel/Kitching centre. If Joel is comfortable enough on the ball to also play CDM then he should be able to play out from the back in that central role too.

apparently Kitching carries the ball forward quite a lot too, and does that overlapping role so could see him as the LCB
