Ended up buying two in block 35, will have to purchase a top hat and monocle separately I guess.

My Dad had already bought two tickets for Sunderland just in case! What are the odds of us getting out cards before then anyway?

Could have stuck some cash on Luton and got it for considerably less than regular STs. To be honest that’s the only way we afforded it.
Did exactly this. £650 on Luton won me £560, so for two adults, cost me £440. Also won another bet that weekend for £200, which I used too.

Goes some way to offsetting the cost of travelling from Norfolk.

We hedged it a little bit, put on £500 each so if we won we still got it half price. Ended up with it for about £320

I put £500 on Coventry to finish in the top 6, put it on in November at 4/1.
Bit nervy on the run-in but resisted the cash-out and let it run till the end, never had a doubt really 🫣

My son had £100 on Luton picking up the playoff trophy. I paid for his train fare from Norwich and back so he had a cheapish day out. Pales into insignificance compared to my nephew who had £1000 on Luton thus the winnings paid for this seasons ST for him and his young son.

I know they’ve had a decent start but I’m baffled by the Ipswich prices being offered, got about 30 Ipswich fans that use the pub including some family members and most of them are as well.
The Norwich fans I regularly speak to are worried that Piswich will finish much higher than the Canaries. Norwich havent lost the 'local' derby for over a decade and that might well come to an end this season too.

I know loads of Norwich fans as well, the pub is pretty much split between the 2 clubs ‘and yes, most of them are worried Ipswich will be ahead of them this season, but their reasoning for this is how poor they think they are rather than how good Ipswich are.
they weren’t even promoted as Champions ffs.

Ipswich are this years Sunderland massively overpriced but will probably be top half/ten.
Absolutely agree with this, as do most of their fans that I know.
The general consensus among them seems to be . Top half = delighted. Top 6 = ecstatic

Take it you’re based in Norfolk?
