Five players who could easily have started this game. You can only bring five on so I don't see the problem.

Palmer being unavailable could do us a favour today, Sakamoto has the ability to run at pace and carry the ball, which Palmer lacks, and that could be a bonus away from home where we may be pushed back for long periods, his quick trickery could also win us free kicks around the box.

Yeah that was another concern of mine. If MVE goes off maybe Kelly comes on and Eccles drops to RWB again.

Preseason isn’t the same as competitive matches though is it. Hopefully you’re right though, a player has to do 90 mins for the first time at some point.

That’s a fair comment. I just think he’s a good player that has that ability to make things happen but he needs to do it more often. Some right over the top reactions at both ends of the spectrum, I agree
