What I don't get, is why anybody would be wound up about a march for peace. I can understand concerns that the general atmosphere being cultivated risks a massive PR disaster from people who haven't been going on them until now, and personally I consider it naive in the extreme to not give this weekend a miss. However, the general principle that we don't want bloodshed...?
Picking on the outskirts of movements is like suggesting all socialists are closet Trotskyists, or all Tories are big fans of Pinochet, and all it does is distract (wilfully?) from a message that actually, a bit of peace, talking, and constructive efforts is better than firing rockets at one another!
