Not really sure how people are expecting the Israelis to respond here. They have to do something as hamas are still firing missiles from Gaza - and Lebanon.
If it was our kids/parents/wives etc. being tortured, raped and sadistically killed and the videos sent to our families, I'm sure we'd all be happy to turn the other cheek or talk about "measured responses" - although the reaction to Manchester Arena etc. makes me wonder if people here have any backbone left at all.
Significant elements of the "Peace" marches are hardline Islamist shouting for the anhiliation of Israel - Islamo-fascists in other words, former (?) hamas members among them. The remainder are sadly their white, virtue-signalling dupes - many of whom would find themselves be-burka'd or thrown from roofs if their masters got near power.
If the IDF hadn't stopped the slaughter on 7/10, hamas would still be at it now, only pausing for the odd tea break. There's a very good article by Ayan Hirsi-Ali on Unherd today talking about her journey to Christianity (via atheism), where she also refers to the clearly-stated goals of Islamists everywhere. The welfare of Jews - and other unbelievers - is definitely not a priority.
So good luck Israel. Had the boot been on the other foot, the Arabs would never have allowed a Jewish enclave to persist on their borders - and indeed they did not all throughout MENA where large Jewish communities had been in existence since Roman times - Baghdad, Tehran etc.
It's hard and brutal, but in such ways is history made - not by listening to ill-informed fucks in the west.
