Any idea why people buy houses (especially new builds) with such tiny windows? Every room in my house has a window for its entire length. I would go crazy with so little light and view.

The official reason is energy efficiency, most people believe the real reason is cost. A square metre of brickwork is far cheaper than a square metre of glazing.

As for 'creating wealth', I think what you mean is 'hoarding wealth'. That's why we have so many people that are struggling just to keep their head above water while the 'wealth creators' are rolling in money. In another post you say the poor don't create wealth. How about giving the money to those further down the social scale in better pay and conditions, even company ownership for employees, and those poor people can be wealth creators because they'll have more money to spend on goods and services and help create jobs because of that. Because you know the thing about wealthy people - they already have enough money to spend if they want to, but they choose not to.

Most of the housing in Coventry is on what would at one point have been the land of someone's estate, and like today a huge amount of wealth can be traced back to inheritance at some point. Much of it was someone's hunting grounds at one point. Would you be happy that at some point someone didn't want your house built because it was on their land? As time goes on and we see that inequality isn't right lands will (and should) continue to be questioned and get smaller.

I'm a keen gardener and would love to have numerous different types of garden, but there is no way I would ever actually considering owning the amount of land needed to do it because it would be massively unjust. I couldn't justify having the chance to indulge my hobby and passion at the expense of someone else having their own property.

It's not like I'd start with those with moderate lands (though I do think those with a decent sized garden should not be allowed to also have an allotment). I'd start with the Crown. When you can say your garden is Cornwall then yes, you need it redistributing so other people have the chance to own their own house and the land it comes on.

This is still a great country. From london, to cornwall/Devon to the lakes. As a nation we spend a lot of time talking it down because of frustration with politics, weather etc and take so much for granted, but we’re lucky to have been born here

Totally agree (weather is actually not too bad really, we tend not to have droughts or be cut off because of the snow!). What does annoy me is a certain type of 'patriot' trying to take away parts of Britain that make it Great by their small-mindedness, and trying to claim parts of it for their own.

I'd rather Starmer sit in front of a Union Flag than Tommy Robinson!
