Is there anyway they can put one of the companies associated with CCFC into admin or liquidation and get rid of the lease that way? Assuming the lease is tied to whatever company is actually CCFC (as in the football club itself) so long as the league would transfer the golden share then could that company not just be wound up and SISU walk away without paying the rent? Sure there's more to it than that but I wouldn't put anything past SISU!

there's loads of temporary seating that has been warehoused unused since the olympics. Wouldn't be that difficult (assuming there's space, I've just had a quick look on Google Maps never been there!) to bring the Butts up to 10-12K or were SISU agree to develop it to that capacity permanently surely they would be able to negotiate a stake in it.

Not saying either of those things are options but if SISU can show that somewhere else is viable then that is to their advantage. I would assume ACL have gone down this road to call SISUs bluff but I'm not sure SISU are the types to respond in the way you would normally expect.

And let's face it a 5 min walk from town and a stadium that's packed would be a much better matchday experience than the Ricoh in the hihgly unlikely event it ever happened. I know people talk about all the facilities at the Ricoh but would your average supporter be bothered if there wasn't a casino to go in and all the other things that come with the Ricoh. I know there would be a drop in available hospitality but we don't really know the % take up at the moment or how much that loss would be offset by reduced rent. Maybe it's not such an out there idea as we'd all previously thought?

If you were the Rugby club given whats gone on for five years and more importantly now ,would you seriously consider getting into bed with sisu?

hinckley currently has official capacity of 4300. though does have the open end where temp seating could be placed quite easily. even with a small bit of investment the terracing could be extended and would not take much to get up to 6000 as a temp measure if there's no choice of anywhere else.

obv you'd want to be back in cov as soon as possible, but realistically with a 10 point hit for admin, you're looking at league two next season, a slight reduction in attendances and a couple of season at hinckley whilst you get sorted would be a viable short term option.

i dont know for sure but it is a thought that has crossed my mind davebart. I think the lease is actually in CCFC Holdings not CCFC so that might be a possibility. That could leave CCFC to play under new lease at Ricoh or elsewhere. Time will tell what their game is........... at the moment SISU either have some plan ready or they are clueless ...... i dont think its the latter

But from what I know ACL have offered to reduce by over 50% but it was rejected out of hand so who is not being transparent in their actions

The only income stream CCFc do not get is from the Kiosks it is very very hard to believe that the loss of profits(not the turnover because sales have costs of sales) derived from that is killing the club

Ticket sales are double the league 1 average, and what income streams do other clubs have?

I hardly think getting the money from a few pies and a couple of pints is going to shoot us to the premiership.

They will not make me travel any distance. I support COVENTRY CITY FOOTBALL CLUB I was born and bread in Coventry. I travel from London to watch them in COVENTRY because I was the one that moved and so if I want to continue to support my team I have to come to them. How is it far that they can make anyone from Coventry have to travel outside of the CITY OF COVENTRY to watch their home team. They can not call any club in any other town or city COVENTRY CITY just as the mk don's are not called Wimbledon mk don's.

More than likely that CCFC is put into admin and a SISU entity buy back in under a pre pack sale. OSB over to you.

I still don't think it'll come to this. Plus, as someone earlier said if they do chuck us out we're not going to be able to sort an agreement with another club and sort all the fixtures, let alone build about 3 stands without any planning permission.

Legue 1 average is 6048. Ours is 43% higher than that if you want a precise figure.
